I've been looking world wide for more than a year now & SR is very near the top of my list for a retirement destination. Cost of living is unreal compared to the US ! Super friendly people and many expats from many different places. Big enough with most everything you need and just a beautiful city. A cheap 1 hour flight to Bangkok for fun or quality medical. -- A bit too hot for a few months but people live outside both early and late in the day + that's what ac is for ? Awesome cheap street food and an international selection if desired. -- Supposedly many expats are living a pretty decent life on $800 - $900 usd / mo. there for one person including immigration fees. Really frugal is doable as well on even less to simply survive ! -- It's just a great place and very affordable.

Great video - going to Cambodia in november. And we would love to go to that floating restaurant with the fresh shrimp and crocodile farm. What was the name of it? And also the cooking class looked amazing! Where was that?

Hey! I'm pretty sure the floating restaurant was called "The floating croc". The cooking class was in Siem Reap, the school was called. Khmer Gourmet cooking. Hope this helps!

Definitely easier to have a driver You can just catch random tuk tuks but they will normally try to offer their services to you as a driver when you arrive at your destination. So its easier just to have one driver for your trip to the city 🙂

Hey! I would highly reccomend using a tuk tuk. The distances inbetween the temples are pretty big. After walking round the temples in the heat it's nice to be able to ride inbetween. From memory it would be too far to walk anyway. Plus the drivers have so much knowledge they share with you on the bits inbetween the temples too
