I'm Jason, a full-time British Travel Vlogger and KZbinr who's been to 61 countries. I've been travelling around the world full-time since 2017.
I have travel series' from many of the world's best (and least) known destinations. I filmed the first vlogs on my channel in the summer of 2016 after spending a year living in China. A proper solo trip around Eastern Europe followed after graduating from University in the summer of 2017, taking me to Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Kosovo. This marked the start of my efforts to turn vlogging into a full-time job.
After that European trip I explored much of Asia: visiting India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Pakistan, the Philippines, South Korea and Kazakhstan.
I have also travelled to North Africa and the Middle East fairly extensively over the last five years, filming videos in Turkey, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel and Palestine.
I've travelled to North America just once as a KZbinr, visiting Mexico in 2021. Though I have been to both the USA and Canada, this was as a child on family holidays.
In 2022, I took my first trip to Sub Saharan Africa, visiting Kenya and Tanzania, before heading to the Middle East, stopping in Dubai and Lebanon. Europe followed, covering both the Greek and Turkish sides of Cyprus, and afterwards going back to Italy for the second time to cover Milan and Sicily. I then visited the Caribbean for the first time, covering the Dominican Republic, before heading to both Brussels and Amsterdam, then covering Taiwan and the Philippines in Asia. I finished off the year with a trip around Morocco.
I started my travels in 2023 by finally visiting Paris, taking the Eurostar from London. I then headed over to Qatar for a few days, before heading to Asia, with videos following from India, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, Mongolia, Thailand and Sumatra (Indonesia).

It's easy for us westerners to forget that most Muslims are not in the Middle East. Looks like a beautiful city.

And many Westerners think Muslims are bad and ter**rist like those in the conflict countries of the Middle East while in fact, the biggest Muslim population in the world is in Indonesia, and the Muslims there vibing casually just like any Western secular nations.

Nice one Jason. I used to catch those overnight buses a lot pre tsunami while the civil war was on. I could write a book about my 8 years living in Aceh. Hope you get over to Weh Island and/or the island west of it. Looking forward to your next vlog. Willy

In Indonesia's Aceh province in Northern Sumatra, waves reached 167 feet (51 meters) and caused flooding up to three miles (five kilometers) inland. On the other side of the ocean, in Somalia, waves ranged in height from 11 to 31 feet (3.4 to 9.4 meters). ❤

It's hard to imagine a wave that is 51 meters tall..... That's a wall of water half a city block high !!!

Interesting one, Jason. I see you've made your thumbnail a bit more conservative for this one. One heck of a colourful bus you traveled up in. Not sure everyone was impressed with the buskers 😂 As always a very intimate and enjoyable video from you of a wonderful part of the world. Thanks for sharing.

Nice and interesting video Jason. That's amazing you showing the underrated place in Indonesia. But we need more longer videos Jason. It's too short video, minimal 1 hours duration hahaha im joking. Probably dont skip part you bought somekind snacks in minimarket and review a local food when you ate in the warung. Btw i like your accent, can't wait for the next videos

Hello Jason, As always a pleasure to watch your videos for the information you transmit, for the no-fuss manner and above all listening to the way you speak English. For me it's like a massage on the eardrums. Tell me, could you tell me what diseases you are vaccinated against? Thank you very much, Jason.

I travelled overland all the way from Sumatra to Lombok in 1993 and it was the most beatiful trip I've ever made. Unfortunately, Indonesia was very traumatic to me as a nature and animal lover. It was by far one of the most cruel ( towards animals) and destructive people I've ever seen! Every local I met told me that shopping malls, concrete buildings, big cities were the best thing on earth. People just burned and destroyed vegetation for no reason and view animal life as things to be used and abused or killed for no reason. Their understanding of nature and animals was like it was all a nuissance, an obstacle to remove and build cities, shopping malls and buildings 😢😢😢😢

Good thing it has changed ( not all), but younger generation now are more environment (and animal) aware. In 1993, we just started development, so that's why perhaps people see concrete building and the "it".

There was no case of any foreign citizens caned in the Aceh province. However, mostly the ones that used to apply radical sharia law was the seperatists, the Indonesian Nationalists in Aceh are actually somewhat secular, and moderate. Only the ex-seperatists and current seperatist parties are hardliner.
