Also FYI by law if a taxi driver says they can't take you due to health issues, they have to show you an exemption certificate. If they don't have one, then they are lying to you about their health.

I think you get used to being out and about in your chair. I don't notice people staring anymore. If I catch them looking I wave, and they have no idea what to do! I've been left on the train twice before. Just press the emergency button to talk to the driver.

Just an observation from someone who is able bodied. I will see someone who I think may need help but i always feel awkward to ask like they be offended because i think they need help.
