We came through the telegraph track mid September 2022 it was dried out a bit but still challenging. Our 2010 Nissan patrol wagon was up to the task even though we were towing a 4x4 camper trailer. Got stuck on a river bank once but we soon were under way again.

Now the car is definitely christened. I just love the beauty of the place with the water crossings. But personally not interested in gunshot-type tracks. Maybe in an old beater 4wd. I love how a group of strangers get together to do the track up there. Cheers guys.

Omg this is taking me back. We did this 12 months ago and the track has changed a lot in just 12 months. We spent 3 days in the Tele track because we camped and it was well worth it. Gun shot we went the far left as there was a car an camper well and truly water logged and stuck on the right hand side 😳 We got out the other side with one bent side skirt (we ended up pulling the side skirts off to get down the right hand side at gunshot) one of the best memories of our travelling so far… also the most heart racing too lol. Can’t wait to watch the rest of the track. Watching you at the start had my heart racing like it did when we were there lol. Thanks for the great video and taking me back to the track too. Safe travels 🙂

You might want to pull up the carpet on the passenger side. Water comes in through cabin drains under the carpet so it's possible it might be wet and muddy under there even though you can't see it from above. I sank my ute earlier this year so I had to deal with washing out the carpets. It turned out to not be as big a deal as I initially feared, just ended up pulling up the carpets and hosing out the cabin with some carpet cleaner for good measure. Shop vac the carpets to help pull water and dirt out of them too.
