Finally, a smart travel channel. I found this very educational, thanks!

Thank you. Yes, that's exactly what I try to achieve- an informative and educational travel channel. I get fewer views but refuse to dumb down. Far too much clickbait rubbish around. Appreciate the feedback.

As Amazigh/Berber from Algeria, I am really in love with this archéological site and Insha Allah I will visit in future

As a Saudi, I think you for a fantastic film. Saudi ministry of culture just announced the discovery of new archaeological sites in both historical Jeddah and Medina I hope you come and visit them too because you’re always welcome in Saudi 💚

What camera did you use sir? It was really good!

For that film I used a DJI Pocket Osmo and a Sony FDR-AX33 with a Røde microphone. Simple cameras that I find easy to use on the road.

Great video! It's such a great destination to visit - and your video explained everything really well. Please take a look at our most recent episode on Hegra - and its connection to Petra, but also linked to Saudi Arabia's opening up. Have liked and subscribed! :) kzbin.info/www/bejne/q6CTl4l7btljhM0si=0AeCZydnSNJl-IjU

You clearly have never been to Petra if you think this place is impressive.

I never said it was more impressive than Petra, but it's still an impressive historical site.

@@TravelObscurer Fair enough. All I'm saying is Hegra is overrated, and if not for the billions Saudi is pumping into marketing the area, you'd be none the wiser. This is coming from someone who grew up in Jordan and has visited Petra dozens of times, and is currently living in AlUla 5 minutes from Hegra.

@@TravelObscurer You will find some Egyptians, Jordanians, etc. trying to reduce tourism in Saudi Arabia because they believe that their tourism will be harmed, so do not take their words seriously. You could visit the Kingdom of Dadan and Lihyan, as well as the Mustatil civilization in Khaybar
