Just to give you a heads-up. In China, the class system in transport is different from Europe and other Western countries. In China, Business Class is the highest class tier, and below that is First Class, and below that is Second Class. Where in Western countries First Class is the highest class tier and below that is Business Class, and below that is Second Class. So, do keep that in mind when you try to book your travel from the bottom Class tier to the highest Class for your experience, and do not end up thinking you should be getting the best service in a First Class travel when you should have booked the Business Class for the best service experience. When you travel business class train, you are entitled to visit the lounge for business class traveller. So better be at the train station slightly earlier so that you have enough time to enjoy yourself inside the lounge.

Chinese train before did not allow such practice. they will swap your ticket with a occupant card. even if people buy it but do not show up.they can sell the bunk at their disposal. it is the rule as before. I hope some expert can explain it better

@@mabo9636 it changed, cause no need paper tickets now. ppl use ID card to check in on board. if u booked and noshow, the seats or sleeperbeth will not resales to others, unless u confirm to refund the ticket on the 12306 system.

We just returned from a two week vacation in China for the first time to Europe. What a fascinating country. While we were not really great fans of Alipay (which sometimes worked and at other times did not work), we were enchanted by China’s rich cultural heritage from Beijing, Hangzhou, Nanjing and, Shanghai, and the superbe Chinese food (so different from what we eat here in Europe), business class in the fast train, and friendly people. Will visit other locations in China next, especially Xian!

Very nice family. The Waldorf Astoria Shanghai is probably the most amazing hotel in shanghai if not of China. You will enjoy it. Finally some KZbinr not a budget traveler anymore and can show ppl the luxury side of Shanghai.

Some useful tips for Chinese HSR. Pay,attention to the number followed the checking gate number, such as 3B (cargo no.6-10). If you're cargo 1-5, you shoud go to gate 3A then. Once you pass the checking gate and are on the platform, check out the number on the ground. Those numbers are exactly where the cargo doors will be.

Nice vlog and welcome to Shanghai! A tip for your next train journey in China: if you have a Chinese phone number you can order food deliveries to your seat/bunk on the train. But you need to order 1-2 hours before the train arrive at the station where the food is prepared and delivered to the train. So maybe you can try to order some food along the way if you don't fancy what they sale on the train.

This train has a modified interior from an old model, not a high-speed train, but it can be said to be a dynamic sleeper. Bloggers can try our high-speed rail sleeper or longitudinal sleeper in China, which will elevate the experience to a higher level. Was in Xi'an in 2006. Had difficulty purchasing a ticket to and back. The railway station area that time was very chaotic; I still remember my shock and fear. China has been improving!

A hard sleeper is a bit cooler than a soft sleeper because the hard sleeper doesn't have a door. If you keep the door of the soft sleeper open, the air circulation will be better.😊😊

Most EMU trains have air conditioning. D124 has air conditioning. You may have set the air volume too low or turned it off.If you encounter a problem such as ineffective adjustment, you can call the flight attendant for help and they will help you solve it.
