I really enjoyed your wonderful day in Juneau. You both are such a lovely couple and dress so fashionable and classy. You’re both so kind hearted. Fain, you showed such compassion when saving the Salmon. Laura, I give you credit for trying the King Crab Legs!! Thanks for all that you do. You’re truly the best ❤️

And that’s not even for a fresh wild caught king crab! We were told by a specialist yesterday in Hoonah that King Crab season has been canceled for the past 2 years, so all the restaurants are basically offering frozen king crab that has been frozen for the past 2 years, and he also said that if the restaurant is advertising “fresh” king crab they’d be lying! 😳 Unless they are coming fresh from non commercial fishery (which is fishing for personal use)!

So that’s incorrect. I live in Juneau and have seen crab shipped out of Juneau all summer. But I learned Tracey’s does import crab and other foods they sell from outside of Alaska which is shocking since we have seafood companies in Alaska shipping crab to the lower 48. Makes no sense.

What's up, guys? My wife and I love your channel and watch it constantly. We also have a travel vlog that has a lot of cruise-related content. I am considering adding a drone to our arsenal of equipment. I have seen videos of you using your drone when out and about during cruise stops, but it seems to be very seldom any longer, if at all. I know you had the run-in at the port right after the laws changed a couple of years back. My question is whether you think it would even be worth getting one for the purpose of using it when we get off the ship, or if it has become too much of a hassle, between the US regulations, cruise line rules, and keeping up with the laws and regulations in different countries. I've noticed that EECC doesn't really use one any longer at least when cruising. Do you mind sharing your thoughts?

I am surprised that estaurants in Alaska sell King Crab for $72.00 lb. I can have 10 lbs of red king crab legs and claws shipped overnight for $650.00. Fun fact, nearly all king crab is processed at the dock's processing plants. They are brined and flash frozen and will last in a commerical freezer for up on one year.

I was just there LAST June (2023) and then again this past May (and I was also there about 12 years ago) ... it's shocking how much the glacier has receded.... That green "moss" is lichen .... ("Beard Lichen," actually) ... Beard lichens are intolerant of air pollution so only grow in woodlands with clear air. They aren't true mosses.
