Lonar crater lake in Buldhana district of Maharashtra is a wonder of the nature. Lonar lake is located around 200 KM's from Ch. Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad) and is very well connected by the highway. Nearest major railway station is Jalna. You can take a Government bus to Lonar which will take around 4.5 hours from Ch. Sambhaji Nagar.
You can visit the place in one day. There are a few stay options are Lonar too but you can come back to Ch. Sambhaji Nagar
