I admire you for visiting Manila. I once lived in Metro Manila during my college days and after more than a decade living and working abroad, I find it hard to recommend Manila for foreign traveller or tourist. I think it is way beyond BKK, KL, SG and even Jakarta in terms of tourism infrastructure. I always suggest the countryside and our islands bec that’s topnotch beauty. That it is ok to transit in Manila but not to live there for longer than a week. That is why I admire you for your courage in exploring Manila for a longer period of time. I live in a province and I find it here less chaotic and relaxing.

Can't wait for part 2 and so on... :) Hoping any of PH Airlines or Kazakh Airlines would have a direct flight from Manila or Cebu or Clark to Almaty. Kazakhstan is still a big mystery among us Filipinos including tourist Filipinos, we rather spend going to Japan or Korea, while Kazakhstan is totally a new destination and connection. All I know was, a former USSR state, Astana is the capital, Almaty is the business capital, and it has a shuttle station of the Russians in the past, the Baikonur Cosmodrome, which I saw in the movie. :) We badly need a Kazakh authentic restaurant in PH, looks delicious I saw from those vloggers. Cheers! Til we see another PH episode of Toni Gonzaga. aka Balnur. :)

Batangas beach, Laguna-Pagsanjan Falls or hotspring, Quezon Province, Mt Makiling, Hundred Island, Baguio-City of Pines coldest place in the Ph, Sagada, Mt Pinatubo, Subic, Banaue Rice Terraces. Boracay, El Nido Coron-Palawan, Bohol-Chocolate Hills. Cebu Oslob-Whale Shark, Moalboal Sardines, Kawasan Falls, Tumalog falls, Moalboal, Batanes. Siargao etc 😊😊❤❤

The remnants of poverty among many Filipinos stayed with the them even until now, but not all, caused by 25 years of poverty under the communist dictatorship of father Marcos until 1986. Philippines was colonized by the Americans and was the number one country economically in Asia after WW2 when USA gave its full independence to them. It was so bad during Marcos time that Filipinos started to migrate and work abroad to help their families that you still see them doing up to this time. Filipinos have no one to turn to but each other especially with their nuclear and extended families during those difficult times and even with their neighbors as well in their villages and this phenomenon has been demonstrated by their genuine kindness, friendliness, generosity and hospitality, plus they are God-fearing being mostly Catholics.

It doesn't surprise me! Beginning 1986 til 2018 the Phils. was in quagmire. Everywhere you look was frustrations bec. of years of neglect and corruptions and those presides the country that time can't see beyond their limited vision the opportunies that lies ahead the country. Filipino people wishing to have a leader that can transform and rebuild the nation. That president from 2016 to 2022 inherited an enourmous problems but slowly turns the tide around given only a limited of time. He's the president I admired though he navigated through his term the rough seas of opposition to and blasted him "blasphemous" of some religious leaders and murderer to criminals and drug pushers, but slowly reap the fruits of his efforts. Wrecking havoc to the drug lords and oligarcs of the country. Planting the foundations for recovery. The nxt pres. continued what he had planted and added more reforms and projects and reap investments. You see a lot to do for the recoveries for what was lost in the past years of neglect. When you come again perhaps in 2030 you will never see again those negatives especially poverties. It takes time and it doesn't happen overnight. Tnx to you time in the Phils. Please watch the transformation of the "Pearl of the Orient seas".
