Honestly, this video is my personal highlight on KZbin this year! What an amazing travel film! One of the most beatiful landscapes i've ever seen and so many beautiful shots of the stunning sights, cities, valleys, mountains and people. I am even more excited to my trip to Nepal this September and can't wait to experience this amazing country on my own. You did such a great job transitioning from photo to video, this film is truly breathtaking and btw you are such a lovely couple. Greetings from Zurich, Switzerland... As I saw you have already visited my country as a photographer. ;D

I visited Nepal in 1974. After hanging around Pokhara and Dal Lake for a few days, I had a bit of a cold and wasn't feeling very adventurous. I was going to leave the next day back to Kathmandu and India, when about 9 o'clock that night 4 fellow Canadians stumbled into the hotel where I was staying, having just finished the Jomosom trek. They told me flatly "You HAVE to do this trek." So I left the next morning on it and the next couple of weeks were possibly the most amazing of my life. Unbelievable. I loved it so much I overstayed my visa. I didn't want to come back to 'civilization'...

I totally understand about not wanting to come back to civilization. I trekked to Kangchenjunga in 1989. Absolutely mind blowing. I didn't have culture shock when I went to Nepal. I felt right at home. The culture shock was HUGE when I went back to my home in the U.S.

this is the best internet documentation of Nepal I have experienced yet. very positive and very encouraging. no politics. no illusion (except perhaps the contrasting colours of the lake and mountains). no bigotry. no hurt or hatred. it would be good to experience your take on a few of the topics you covered. something in a little more detail. thank you for taking the time to share this. it is brilliant to see. Ilam is absolutely my kind of place. I love tea so much it would be difficult to leave. I'd probably keep on returning again and again it would be that good. if there is a place on earth I could have chosen to be born it would be Nepal. absolutely beautiful both in the spiritual and physical sense.

The trek from Phakding to Namche took 10k calories out of me :D,but it was worth it. And by the way, totally agree with the timeless beauty of Ama Dablam. Going back next year at the end of April, got some unfinished business with Island Peak. I got extremely exhausted due to the imbalance of intake -burn calories. I was burning way more than I was eating. This happened partly because I was on a 100% vegetable diet. My blood sugar halfway between Island Peak high camp and the peak was 52, way too low. I feel weird, check everything and when I saw my blood sugar, I decided to come down to safety. Next year will have MREs ( meal ready to eat ) with high calories content ( 10k calories per meal ) for the duration of the trek plus some extra local food :) . Thank you for the video and hope to cross paths somehow , somwhere . Stay safe

What does a 10k calories meal consist off? 10k in an meal, really?
@KonstantinGabriel1978 Жыл бұрын
@@dominiquepaulmusic542 yes, the MREs are have a high content calories. The one that I am gonna use were designed for arctic conditions. The pack contains actually 2 separate meals,witch usually I manage to eat them both if I am cold and tired
@KonstantinGabriel1978 Жыл бұрын
@@dominiquepaulmusic542 the first bag : Granola with Milk and Blueberries Chicken and Dumplings with Vegetables Chicken Fried Rice with Vegetables Beef Stroganoff with Noodles Biscuits and Gravy Second bag : Strawberry Granola Crunch Apple Cinnamon Cereal Teriyaki Chicken & Rice Chili Mac Trailhead Noodles & Beef Pasta Alfredo Crest Peak Creamy Pasta & Chicken Lasagna plus in each bag there is like a 2 inches long by 1 inch wide and 1 inch thick cookie like thing. That needs to be rehidrated in 2 oz of water and you eat it only after you finish the two bags. That will give you the sugar rush multiplied by 100 for the next 6 to 8 hours minimum. The menu is not constant. There are a lot of other options. And all of this comes with flameless heater ( chemical ) to heat up the food. Even unheated I can eat it ( not very fussy about my food ). Another requirement is to drink plenty of water during the day . Your mileage may vary, based on your metabolic sistem, body composition , phisical shape.( 6.foot 6inches tall and and almost 300 pounds assembled)

@@TRAVERART i went back in April this year and unfortunately just under the crampon point altitude sickness kicked in real hard. Took me 28 hours from that point back to Chuckung (I hope I spelled the name of the last place before the base camp). Hi Guys! What a beautiful documentary! Absolutely love it! I’m planning to make a short film about Nepal and I’m leaving to Nepal next week, where I will travel solo. I had some questions and I hope you can help me🙏🏻 I would really love to see authentic/remote ethnic groups/villages. But is also kind of a must for me to have Wi-Fi/4g/3g connection and electricity for most of the days… What region or which trek do you recommend the most? I also read about the Dashain Festival in Nepal, I would love to film during this festival, do you have any idea in which city/village this festival is celebrated the biggest? I Would be really thankful if you have time to answer 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Dear Sarthak and Smriti, I must say that this video is the most beautiful amongst all I have seen till date. Not because of the beautiful landscape and the diverse travel subject but for your honest, innocent and pure information. I had been to Nepal just before CORONA and had experienced an enchanting Nepal. I loved that trip but need more to explore as I thought I missed lot of thing after watching your video... Congratulations and all the very best....
