fascinating and fun game to watch, one vs seven and the one won! actually reminds me of a Napoleonic game I played where my limbered Prussian battery was charged by French cavalry

Great scenario. Thought the Union were done for early on, but the skirmishers won the day on the flank.

have you guys heard of or considered trying Sludge? It's super cool, and has been my main project for the last couple months. I'd love to see it get some more exposure.

The beauty of Sharp Practice is that the game flow is continuous without the IGOUGO or written orders although there is a game objective with some scenarios, again it isn’t obvious But it does make the game less formal and it puts good fun back into gaming. I’ve never played the ACW game, having stuck to napoleonic . I think it’s about time to become James Longstreet or Tecumseh Sherman better yet a brigade commander if I can stretch the rules to allow that otherwise it’s some Shavetail Lieutenant 😎

(bloody mouse playing up) normally the battery would be destroyed but in this instance by poor dice throwing the French cavalry were routed.

A fascinating game with an interesting swing in fortunes. (NB I'd expect to pronounce Beauchamp as Beecham)
@Naeron663 жыл бұрын
It would normally be pronounced Bow-shon which is the French proununciation.

It's pronounced Zoo ahv I should know as I did re enacting as 1st La. Special Batt. Wheats Tigers and Company B was a Zouaves. outfit 1 of 2 that came from around New Orleans and the state the others was Coopers Zouaves, and there was few other Confederat units another one was the Maryland 9th. So if anyone even wants to say they was strictly a Union type that isn't the case.

Great game really thought the confederates had the game at the beginning with how much damage the main union column took but the game took a swing.
