Me personally, I grew up watching bcf primarily Tenn St (the real tsu) so I loved all the KZbin channels that came out but after a while it was all about jsu and mainly focused on prime and that became irritating and get they were what was hot. It’s going to be interesting to see who keeps their content going and who’s content goes away. We need that content now more than ever now so keep it going.

Content providers are driven by content seekers and we will see whether they continue to seek HBCU content because they are guaranteed providers if there is a market. But the MARKET is key.

I think Travis Hunter will go to another school. When Shadeur and Shilo transferred, their move to Colorado was instant. Travis has yet to commit which says a lot. It was easy for him to come to Jackson because Prime was in Mississippi and he was from Georgia. You have to know that there are Power 5 schools closer to home trying to pull him as soon as he hit the portal. I think there is a reason we've never heard from his mouth that Colorado is his final destination. Let's not lose fact that moving across country is something he might consult with his family first and I think being closer to his family will be a factor in where he lands in the end.

Why didn’t Coach Prime wait for a Florida or Texas P5 job opening? Maybe, it’s just me, but the move to CU seems like a hasty move. I would have stayed at JSU, and would’ve been patient for a better P5 gig with more of a football history than CU. Do you think it will be more difficult to build CU as a dominant force than JSU?

@@MJ-xh4fl Oh of course!! He started interviewing for power 5 jobs in 2019 around the time Shilo graduated and wasnt selected. So he ended up at JSU. I knew what he was doing based on his moves sort of. I dont agree with how he came in and painted a pretty picture and left but I now understand he is trying to get his son in. I also said the same thing, all I saw were people saying he was playing nobodies and wasnt that good etc. So im rooting for him and all the players trying to get in!! They came did what they could and on to bigger things! Shilo is even graduating from JSU!

I wouldn’t be surprised if Travis goes to another school. The team to watch for is USC. They have deep pockets, Heisman winning QB, good offense and the notably much better weather. Lincoln Riley will allow him to play both ways. Also, Shedur has one more year left before he becomes eligible for the NFL draft which means those two only have one more year left of playing together.

I don't think the state matters when it comes to college kids. They spend most of their time on campus so it's not like they are enjoying the night life like adults are when they move to a city because they don't even have the money to. Jackson State is one of the most fun HBCUs that is why you have students from all over going to Jackson State. You think cities like Tuscaloosa are fun cities? No the kids go for the on campus experience not the city it's in.

The SEC has well over 100 players in the portal. Arkansas alone has over 20.
