At first I thought this would be a joke but come on, this is Travis Pastrana. So he finished 17th. Who cares. Travis always puts a smile on my face watching him do what ever he's doing at the time. A living legend in the motorsports world.

I was there , we all went nuts when 199 came out of the woods with the lead ....Daytona Sx finish line back flip was cool but watching 199 reel in Tedesco in the long whoops was one of the sickest things i've witnessed on a track . Tedesco was a full double ahead of him going into the whoops , the entire Daytona grandstand of fans would stand when 199 upshifted a gear higher and started blitzing :)).

Reminds me of a few years back when Jeffrey herlings raced the beach race in Belgium. Though he won in glorious fashion

In 2005, then recently retired MX/SX hero, Doug Henry showed up at this race with his practice bike and won.

The trail reminds me of some of the fast whooped out trails in Baldwin Michigan, accept these whoops are smaller. Any Michigan guys know the trail called "The Little O"?
@johnbergeson81804 жыл бұрын
I was in the USFS ORV Safety Patrol during the 1990s, and the Little O was the trail I patrolled the most. It is still one of my most favorite trails. Lincoln Hills is another favorite trail of mine.

hardly a superathlet like him gets more than a couple of blunt blows here and there. if you ever touched a MX in your life you'd already know it's a hard job for a very strong body

Isn't Travis Pastrana supposed to be a role model or something? Why is he showing up to races all hopped-up on dope?

I hate to break it to you.. but athletes do what they have to do.. if you need someone as a role model to tell you what you need to do and not do and criticize him for that is ridicoulous. Athletes do steroids. And whatever else they need to do to win. It's just how it is..
