How can these techniques and playing skills be learned?
@paulmayerpiano Жыл бұрын
@@johanbrand8601 get a time machine and make your parents go to a sactified baptist church from when you were a baby onward. Or, watch and listen on 75% or 50% speed but you have to have good ears too, but you will still have 20 years of catching up to do. If you don't have a time machine or good ears, plus LOTS of time to practice and a church to play in, you're kinda outta luck... Anyone would be considered a "good" organ player if they could play 5% of what Travis can play. The man is ridiculous. Richly blessed, and has put in a mountain of work too.

I'm developing my own sound because it just won't sound like Travis...lol! My favorite. Following him is Quennel (who may play at a higher level of difficulty), then Corey Henry, then Eddie Brown, then Corey Ling (look him up)!

montdogg216 Thats because nobody fears God anymore. So if they dont fear God, then they definitely will not respect man of God. The guy can play and i admire the talent and gift, but God doesn't have respects of persons. Roman 2:11. So his gift that God gave him doesnt excuse him for calling any man of God out of his name.

I can’t stand it when you have to try and figure out what’s being played. There’s a such thing as getting too far away from the tune
@phillycam15585 жыл бұрын
Ur comment is ass.
@paulmayerpiano9 ай бұрын
Sure, but how far is “too far” from the tune is different for different people. I say go for it because I’ve heard it “straight” a million times. Other folks have their opinions too. At the end of the day, it’s God who should get the glory so if it fulfills that purpose I’m good with it.
