So he dropped him off at an animal shelter. He always visited the chimp each year and then he brought him a birthday cake. The chimp got very excited and then all the other chimps got upset and furious because he didn’t get them a cake. So the chimps escaped and then tore him limb by limb. And ripped him apart... I noticed that a lot of people thought that when Travis was smiling he was doing it to be cute, spoiler alert; he wasn’t. Chimps smile as a threat or a warning, they’re not human so they don’t behave like us nor have the same emotional/social reactions or norms with us. Travis was a danger from day 1, not because he was violent but because he was a 200 pound animal with amazing strength and intelligence who was also probably sexually frustrated. He was also being medicated with unprescribed human medicine. He was also never (I don’t know if that’s true but I’m assuming) given the opportunity to socialize with his own species and mate any females to relive sexual frustrations, all in all, Travis did not deserve to die, he shouldn’t have EVER been a ‘pet’, medicated to hell and isolated from his own kind. PLUS the woman who owned him let him consume alcohol 🤦

It's preposterous to assert he attacked her because she changed her hair. Travis was a chimpanzee. Freakishly strong, naturally aggressive, and had been giving his owner SIGNIFICANT behavioral problems for quite some time. He didn't go from a sweet, gentle creature one day, to consuming a woman's face the next, because he was "protecting his mom". He did it because he's a chimp, and they are meat eaters and they are aggressive. From his previous behavior he showed he was a ticking time bomb and his owner repeatedly ignored the signs. PERIOD.

THE EXPLANATION: The owner got too comfortable and gave him lots of meat treated him like a human before the attack he got scared by the cars ran away they found him brung him back home and he probably found xanax and y'know he got aggressive because she was trying to calm him down and she brought his favorite toy out tried to calm him down but that only made him madder and started freaking out and sandra asked for her friend for help and that friend had a new haircut and that friend started driving to her house and Sandra gave her friend the toy to calm him down and he didnt recognize her so he attacked and tried to protect his toy and Sandra all of his theory are right.

The chimp didn’t deserve to be forcibly taken from its own natural mother as a baby which would have caused huge lifelong trauma and grief in both mother and child. These chimps were treated as commodities by this woman who used to treat chimps for captive breeding - chimps never recover from being taken from their mothers - basically it was almost the equivalent of human baby snatching for commercial profit - and the ‘owners’ did this for decades. The ‘owner’ is fully responsible for animal abuse and should never have been allowed to treat animals like this.
