They’d have to change a few things if it was a movie. They’d have to build a truck stop in Johnson City Tn or change towns one. Probably be better to change towns since it is a longways to Richmond from Johnson City rolling up on 95 indeed. As a matter of fact you could take any route east and come to Richmond before you’d hit 95. So shorten that up just a little bit anyhow.

Same. Had a 72 splint bumper with a 6" cowl, 400, 750 holly double pumper, old school slapper bars, 3 speed, and a 4:10 rear...Did not make much horse power, but was a solid high 12 car that demanded a lot of attention to drive. Miss it.

I honestly wish more country today was still like this. I remember back in 2003 when I went to Country Thunder and he was there and did this song, it was just plain awesome. I'm happy he is part of the country I grew up listening to. Travis Tritt, Vince Gill, Garth Brooks, George Strait, Collin Raye, Mark Chestnut, the list goes on. I was born in 1991, and grew up with this type of great country music.

He’s like a proto-Chris Stapleton. A lot of similarities in their voices. Chris Stapleton I think has curated his voice a bit more where as Travis Tritt just sounds like he’s singing in his normal singing voice. I have a great appreciation for them both

Man I live 50 or so miles from Johnson City. Go there to Smiths Harley Davidson. Lived and rode bikes in Richmond in the 80's.. Man memories good and bad. Father died in Richmond Va hospital in 84' Some times weren't to far from this song. It was a hulluva ride.
