Three stellar songs so much love, appreciation and support for the cure.. loved them since 1985..
@AndrewInCanada995 жыл бұрын
Really great performances of all these songs! Maybe it’s just a fluke, but the sheer size and variety in the crowd really shows me how mainstream The Cure were in the mid 80’s. Their humble goth/post punk roots from 1979-83 is probably my favourite era of theirs, but I can’t deny it’s nice seeing them get so much love and admiration in a big stadium like this. Also I really like how Simon’s bass sounds in “A Night Like This”, it’s probably my favourite of the 3 songs, just such a great riff and chord progression :)
@smarieintn5955 Жыл бұрын
We were devoted in the 80s and beyond. Circa 1990 Atlanta was a great show. Only concert I've ever seen where people stormed the stage. One girl got to kiss him, and I can still see him smiling.

We were stuck outside in traffic in boiling weather when a dreadlocked guy strolls past and offers to get my panting dog a drink. I ask him half jokingly if he can get my chum in as he hadn’t a ticket to which he replies “ no problem “ ...I meet my mate Tim & Pippa the Spaniel x Collie a little later inside the Festival . The actual tickets were £ 28 quid but that was probably Tim’s’ dole for the week back then. God wasn’t life free compared to the future 😕🐢🏴
