That's Rachel's problem : she doesn't take a risk as a performer, she wants to follow all Broadway rules VERY right. That's why I think she failed, if Rachel picked another Broadway song or change it in last time, like Kurt did, she should have nailed her NYADA audition. Too much confidence do that with everyone.

No, actually you can see from the beginning that she could win that audition even without singing, the problem was Kurt changing plans right before and the way the jury appreciated it that made nervous to Rachel like feeling not good enough or forcing too much her performance to be as impressive as Kurt. That’s why we artist never look other auditions before ours.

Sue Sylvester has to be one of the funniest characters ever written for television, Jane Lynch is just superb in the role. Every time I rewatch an episode she has me in stitches. Also Nene Leakes was such a great addition to this show.

Actually it is weird because for years no one ever heard or mentioned pleak, then one video says "pleak" and people jump on it as another way to dismiss Rachel's plight.

This episode has you laughing your a$$ off at the beginning. Sue, Beiste and Rozz throw shade like Nadal and Federer play tennis. Then you get some AWESOME performances: Kurt's best performance, The Cell Block Tango, etc. Then we're hit with incredible acting From Dot-Marie Jones and Lea Michelle. When Bieste cries and says she's afraid that no one else will want her, it's a gut punch. And Lea Michelle knocked it out of the park when she's begging Whoopie and then that last performance of Cry is just wow. I actually thought it fit, especially when they cut to Finn holding Rachel as she breaks. This episode has EVERYTHING!

the girls were shitty and so wrong to make fun of domestic violence even as a joke and not thinking that's what happen is f****** up .. Love Kurt performance one of my favorite of him with Le Jazz Hot and I Want To Hold Your Hand .. Rachel chocked yes but it's not surprising she was too confident on her performance.. she want to be Broadway so bad that she didn't take any risk but at the end i think she was scared after seeing Kurt take a risk and after what Carmen told to Kurt after the performance so her confidence start to be preasure and she flunked

Yeah.....that part you skipped with Puck's comment about sophomores..... the writers wrote some really awful stuff in Puck's storyline, and considering what happened years later it's just really gross
