Trax BBQ's Half-Sheet BBQ Platter Challenge

The day after the Jack's Donut Hole Championship, Randy and I made our way down to McCordsville, Indiana to Trax BBQ to take on their huge Half-Sheet BBQ Platter Challenge! Hungry barbecue enthusiasts have one hour to finish 4 9oz portions of BBQ meat including pulled chicken, pulled pork, brisket, and sausages along with 4 sides including coleslaw, mac n cheese, corn hush puppies, and potato salad. Winners earn their $60 meal for free, a groovy gift pack, and a spot up on the Wall of Fame!

The one time I was in Rocky mount NC. I went to a mom and pop vinegar BBQ joint and when you mixed the pulled pork with coleslaw, The best BBQ I have ever had.

And speaking of loud burps... when I was a teenager we used to drive up to Lake Geneva, WI from Illinois to visit a couple of places which I'm sure are both gone 40+ years later, but there was a place called Charlotte's which was fun to be at at night, and one down by the water called The Top Deck. One afternoon we stopped in there and I let out a very loud "Give Me A Beer Mac" belch which amused the guy behind the bar and he gave me one on the house. Before I knew it there were several guys buying me beers and wanting me to do it again. LOL Great job! Most of it looked really great! Just not a fan of the slaw.
