Just brilliant!!! Picked up on three points I'd completely missed; the multi preset pitstop stratagies and starting the motor 2-3 seconds before the end of your pit stop countdown, also the information regarding swapping real drivers and having to countdown the pit exit for the new driver. As soon as the front of your car crosses the line, I’m fairly certain you are good to go. At least that’s what I do every time and I’ve never been penalised for it 😊

Is there any chance that flooring it out of the box will cause you to speed for a fraction of a second or is the pit limiter good enough to prevent that?

When car is dropped, engine is turned off. And I need to restart it (manual start setting). but on every pit stop video I see guys switch on ignition before even timer runs out and when car is dropped they go immediately. what is the trick? please help

Ottimo video e spiegazioni molto dettagliate pero' io ho un problemone con le gare di endurance della carriera perche' pur rispettando limite ai box in entrata e in uscita, niente tagli, effettuando le 2 soste obbligatorie con cambio pilota e cambio gomme ( consumo gomme e carburante disattivati) non mi segnala nessuna penalita' dopo ogni uscita dai box e mi fa terminare la gara e pur vincendola mi mette ultimo con il segnalatore DSQ che equivale a "squalificato". Ho gia' ripetuto piu' volte svariate gare ma niente, sempre DSQ. Invece nelle gare SPRINT di 20 minuti non mi e' mai successo. Spero tu possa aiutarmi a capire qual'e' il problema, grazie.

How do you make the pit crew give you tyres with the same pressure as you start with?? The default is 27.9 and 27.8, which isn't right, and I just want to keep the tyres the same after the change and I can't recall from memory my setup pressure and can't change it in preparation while driving because it's too much to focus on multitasking

You need to go into the pitstop preset menu within the setup screen, go through the presets and click on the button “match current pressures”. That will match them to whatever tyre pressures you are currently on when you pit 😊

Really appreciate the comment! Honestly, it will be different in every scenario. It’s all about your track position relative to the cars around you and your pace, less so about what position you are in specifically. Are you stuck in traffic and losing time, or do you have clean air and a bit of fuel left? If it’s the former, id pit early to try and get the jump with your fresh tyres. If it’s the later, stay out and make the most of your clean air, and then pit later and have the stronger tyres to fight with at the end 😊 I think I talked about this in the video “5 ways to win in ACC”, take a look at our ACC guide playlist! if i get into a pitstop and want to ride away i cant go to 50 in a second like it is hanging on 1 and then slowly to 40 and then i can drive how can i fix this

That might be something to do with the automatic clutch. As long as you are in first gear it should be okay, but some launches might be a bit quicker using manual clutch. I’m not sure if that’s exactly what you meant by the question, so let me know if there is something else!

the pits can give me road rage :) ive played a few older sims before but i found ACC very touchy & perceptively slow thro corners which takes a while to get used to.. you can then win some races fairly easily... then these pitstops usually ruin it all for me.. even when i think ive entered ok, the initial rush off track to the point you need to prepare to slow to the Pit limiit, engage 1st gear, keep eyes out for sign & final white line (if there is more than one:P).. all that seems difficult enough, then comes the parking up,,, i try to go off the 2nd from top arrow on marker board but even that seems to take an age... my last try, i thought i'd entered fast & legal, parked well, left well.. but was back of grid from 2nd.. ?? i really have no idea with them.. i thought it was better than many previous attempts.. but no :/

Usually this is because of you not meeting the requirements for the pit stop, whether this be a refuelling requirement or a mandatory tyre change. Make sure that the tyres you are switching to are brand new and not a used set. You can do this by looking at the symbol next to the tyre set option in the pit MFD, if the circle is pure white then it's a brand new set of tyres.

Strategy is such a difficult thing to nail every time. It's too situation dependent to say "Do this" or "Do that". You've got to factor in the air and track temp, the style of track (does it wear the tyres hard in general anyway), and sometimes it's best to undercut and sometimes it's best to overcut. The only real piece of advice I can give you is to listen to what the car is telling you and then make a call based on that. If your car feels like it's struggling for grip, it's probably time to box. - Rwaggy

I've been racing raceroom a lot lately and wanted to get back to ACC. ACC has a lot more si.ulated and WOW! factory than raceroom. But.... the pit stops are ruining it. Should be a simple pre set pit stop options. The problems with these tutorials is that they don't go step by step on how to create a pit stop pre set. I'd like to get to racing so setting up pit stops would be awesome. However, trouble in binding the correct command buttons! This is a whole lot more frustrating than it has to be.

What is the problem when the engine stops a quarter of an hour before the end of the race?

Is it fuel load? The default setup has 60L of fuel and you will likely need more to finish races that are longer than half an hour 😊 That caught me out the first time I played career mode! Ran out with 2 laps to go….

K... tried to work out a decent race in championship mode in ACC. Qualified 2nd and started race. Lost a position due to pushing too hard into a corner. Pit window opens up. I dive in for a pitstop. The pitstop hud comes up. This is where it goes all wrong. I can't toggle or enter any changes, and can't get rid of the Hud. It never goes away. I've assigned buttons for it. But nothing works. Trying to get it to go away I crash or overshoot the corners resulting in crash or damage which I'll have to pit for! NO!!! This games pit system sucks! I tried all weekend to no avail I'm no more adept at it than when I started! What trash. I'm a real driver on the weekend in several events, and this pit system makes absolutely no sense in an otherwise great looking game! Help!
