Been playing dirtbike games since atv off road fury… downloading 6 now. Top 100 on most time attacks on ps4 mes5. Only thing I want to see isruts an breaking bumps am be to get cross rutted

I love motocross and have been playing a majority of titles since Excitebike on NES! But no I think I'm going to pass. For me the games have great graphics and the responsiveness feels okay, but Milestone really knows how to ruin a franchise.

Max vs atv unleashed was the best in terms of bike customization changing the bikes engine and tires to slicks for asphalt or concrete tracks, loved the tracks and free roam.

Held off on getting this due to the poor comments. Just grabbed it on sale. Should have bought it at the start. Best of the series for me. Can it be improved yep but it's Def the best this far.

When you said regular series players might not see enough changes to puck this up, you nailed it. I haven't bought one since supercross 3 and mx vs. Atv legends blows them out of the water.

That's a tough one because I think both legends and Supercross 3 are bad games. We're in the era of amazing graphics and responsiveness/controls of racing games. I would unironically rather play a PS1 motocross game than these two ever again.

Excessive loading screens for no reason are annoying as hell. The only thing more annoying is McGrath asking "you ready?" every time I go to start a challenge.

You can’t turn in this game and it drives me insane. Also hardly any new gear… overall 6/10. Better than 5 track wise and if they fix the turning it’ll be better physics wise.

@@jkell411 wrong , MX vs ATV is an all out Acrade game,MESC is based on the real life series,which should mean it's the most realistic MX game,if you don't like MX vs ATV (I don't) that's fair as it's a totally different game type,it's a fun shame this is supposed to be a representation of the Supercross Championship

​@@jkell411I disagree. But, even if I did agree I'd still point to the fact that at least the THQ/Rainbow team is constantly trying to improve and update. They've improved Legends more over one year with patches than milestones has since Supercross 3.

Everything is wrong.. Mes 5 felt much better. I much rather have milestone improve the mxgp games instead of this desd horse... Mxgp 21 felt soo good, minor tweaks, aditional content, a helmet and sticker editor n more jumps n stuff in the track editor and the game would be perfect... Dont know wtf milestone have been doing for all this time developing this mess. Feels like a unfinished beta At best to me.

Physics are way better than mx vs atv, idk what kind of drugs you and OP are on, but i didnt buy Supercross 6 for a long time because everyone was complaining about it, i bought it last week on sale and it's absolutely fantastic, i dont know if there has been an update or something but i love the physics and it's way more realistic than the mx vs atv legends game.. i've really been enjoying the game and i can shred for days, i use no aids and simulation physics..

I have been holding off on buying this because everyone was making bad reviews about it but shit i bought it on sale last week and the physics are great and i dont have that "unpredictable rear end" OP is talking about, i drive on sim physics with no assists and i can SHRED for days .. love this game and i dont get where all the hate is coming from, this game is way better than the MX vs ATV legends game.

I'm a rider waiting out a torn ACL from riding. And this game is keeping my mental game up. Set physics to advanced, and zero AI balance and turn assist, full bike control, and it's legit.

You touched on the cross platform topic, but missed a pretty important question IMO ... can someone create a lobby and invite friends playing on other platforms OR is the cross platform system limited to random public lobbies filling up first come first served?

The only thing I’m enjoying is chasing down my own track times. The physics are very meh. Often it feels like the bike is hovering and most surfaces feel like wet rock than mud or sand. Scrubbing and whipping are touted in the game, but look really rough and scrubbing is almost impossible to utilize effectively on any track. The AI are really really bad. At the hardest difficulty they are slow and just dumb. They are wrecking balls and even if you have a bad start there is no satisfying battle, just objects in the way riding erratically. I think it’s really bizarre to release it as the “22” season when we are half way through the 23 season. How hard is it to throw a red plate on Tomac and move Roczen to Team Suzuki!? If you look at it as what it is, an arcade game for the generic all age supercross fan, it can be decently fun for a few hours. I am new to the series, so don’t have the gripe of re-release. For a full priced racing sim there are older options on discount that are more satisfying to play.

I really wish they would get this right someday. I like the game and have played it in career mode. The "realistic" AI could be improved across the board. I like that "bike settings" matter. I have been playing and adjusting my ride for what suits me. Overall, the game is fun on career mode and l look forward to trying on-line racing.

I played 4 and I couldn’t get used to it. It feels so stiff and awkward. It still looks stiff and awkward. The graphics do look nice though.

Part 4 is the worst and hardest in the series. I haven't played 6 yet (I'm watching this review before purchasing) but part 5 was 100 billion times easier. Granted, the controls felt slippery (very slippery at times), but the game was at least easy if you wanted things easy (unlike part 4 where it's just brutal even on the "easy" difficulty, which was really a hard difficulty in disguise).

Just played SX5 yesterday public lobbies Lol. It was pretty fun but, I started using advanced everything which took some getting used to. Best I did was 4th place, almost a podium at Pontiac Silverdome

hate to say this but this game is bs and a money grab. they need to change so many things. first of all bring out the game around xmas with the actual new season and 2024 line up. change to the new unreal engine. revamp the physics completely. especially the air, whip/scrub physics must be free. change the movement of the player, rider is to bulky, gear is to wide, no movement in hips and knees to left and right. change the damn sound. just go for a mixture of mx bikes and reflex. I won't buy anything from milestone unless they are wiling to change.

@@Werferharfer I honestly think that it’s the last Gen consoles that’s holding the series up. Trying to keep a stable frame rate on both PS5/ps4 for example is complicated because you’re almost making two games in a way. I think next year they should focus on PS5/SeriesX only and come up with a new terrain deformation system. Because the physics are decent enough in both games but without terrain deformation no SX/MX game will truly be next Gen or good. They really had something with MXGP 3 and if they can build off that and worry about graphics later they’ll be fine. I mean pre-made berms do add a level of fun but it’s just a band aid

Yeah while I’m sure it would make the game more fun you couldn’t run advanced rider physics which is part of the fun. I hated the game until I switched to manual gears and advanced everything without assists on. It makes the game more fun and you have more control. It seems hard for like a few hours then it just clicks and I got 4th in public lobbies
