You are selling me on Goldwings. My current bike is due to be replaced and my situation is morphing more to long distance and comfortable bike use. Your various creations, which appear to be very high quality and well thought out give me confidence that I will be able to "adjust" the bike, once I have it, to suit my needs. I have been thinking about making this comment for a while but didn't know which video it really belonged in. This particular display of accountability, openness and comprehensive responsiveness to the situation is very impressive.

I appreciate your post. In 23 years, I have been fortunate to never even have to "check" or update any parts we've made. Perfection is a lofty and elusive goal in the world of manufacturing.

I’m not even a Goldwing owner, yet am impressed with your candor, ethics and follow through. Nice job Max and Traxxion. You have already earned my business if I have a Goldwing in the future.

Both technical and non technical explanations, and solutions. Excellent. I just looked at mine, and the previous owner has installed the rivets ! Now, ask yourself what would China do in this situation…

My 2020 DCT Tour had that play issue. I felt it and measured it. Dealer simply put a pin to lock the fork and measured and it was off by 2 mm. They had one in stock, came back after few hours and was done under coverage. If it accurse again, I am ordering yours and done with it. I do read, many are using yours and never an issue. Solid steering. Shame on Honda on a 30K bike. And, I love Honda bikes.

We completely revised our tie rod, and it is now manufactured 100% completely in-house so that we can guarantee our quality.

Very impressed with the customer service from Traxxion with Max taking the lead to ensure our bikes are safe. My tie rod is within spec but just emailed Max requesting the kit as an additional safety measure. Will order from Traxxion again in the future I'm sure. Big thumbs up from me.

Thanks for sharing, the post lady will pick up your kit in the AM.

Probably a stupid question but I am a new owner....What is the difference in your tie rod and the OEM one? Thanks

Just search "Traxxion Tie Rod" on my channel, there's several videos on this topic that explain everything from the beginning.

What is the torque spec for the tie rod nuts if we remove them for inspection? Are the nuts reusable if removed? They look to have a locking tab.
@Traxxion3 жыл бұрын
They have a locking tab, I always reuse them. 27 ft/lb.

Honda would never issue a service bulletin, that would mean they wouldn't look perfect.

Safety of every rider is more important than looking perfect... but after 23 years, we were likely to have at least ONE part go bad in a million. So we just need to be certain everyone is 100% safe. Don't forget, the bike has 2 tie rods for a reason.

@@Traxxion I have sent in pics of my suspension bottomed out on the jounce bumper along with my negative and unsafe riding experience months ago and here I sit with no response. Kind of funny how I am machining prototype jounce bumpers for BASF, definitely a challenge being they are made out of closed cell foam rubber.

Everyone is commenting about your great service . . . well, this shouldn't have happened in the first place. Your bad . . . .
@Traxxion3 жыл бұрын
We don't make the rod, it is only branded for us. And nothing manufactured is perfect, even a child knows this. And our service is exceptional, which is why we're pre-emptively asking people to check their part out. So you are wrong, we have done nothing bad.

Yeah, but things DO happen. EVERY manufacturer should be as open and honest as Max. I've bought from him and wouldn't hesitate again. Especially now after seeing his relationship with you doesn't end once you've paid and he ships his product. And good luck finding a defective TD product in the future. Max is totally obsessed with quality. I'm sure he's doubling down on quality control.

what MC and car brands do you drive? theyve never had any recalls or issues? everything youll buy has the potential to have issues. its how the company handles those issues for the consumer that separates the good ones from the bad ones.
