Traxxas 1/16 Dual Servo Upgrade Tutorial. Revo / Slash. Twice The Steering Power!

I noticed in grass especially, and with larger 1/16 Summit tires, that the steering sometimes had troubles. Adding this 2nd servo was fairly inexpensive, and doubles the power of my steering system.

Just picked up a roller today for 86$ all I need is the esc servo tires skid plate servo and receiver and cover and a remote lol but remote ima just bind it with my slash vxl 1/16 let’s see what happens my slash flips too much

None of the kits come with servo screws, so frustrating

Did you have to set limits for the servos after installing? Also do you think this would work with one Savox and one Traxxas servo?

Didn't have to set anything. Just worked. I would not recommend two different servos. They should be exact same servos.

These I just got recently. They are actually the stock tires from a 1/16 Traxxas summit. They are called "Canyon AT". They are awesome on the Revo for driving anywhere off or on road. I also have a pair (that I've had for 10 years and forget the name of) street tires. Which are no good in tall grass, but amazing on the street. I don't have any stock revo wheels/tires anymore. My stock ones are long gone, worn down to nothing and I guess I got rid of them years ago. I do plan to get another stock tire set, because they were great too. But these summit ones are slightly larger and provide tons of fun! Don't run them on 3 cells though, they balloon a little bit on 2 cells on the street, 3 cells would be sure to be problems. I personally just run dual 2 cell batteries in parallel for added run time and I have plenty of power and speed, without breaking differentials.

I do. I need to get to the field this summer and get some of my larger planes out! During winter I mostly just took out smaller helis and quads to fly around my yard (Blade 200QX is my favorite still for just fun flights anywhere... I actually just purchased a 2nd one, brand new in box with the upgrades for 3D flight! Mine was never upgraded, just the original version / software.).

That’s awesome yeah I was just wondering because I haven’t seen you post any new Flight videos for a long time, I enjoyed your heli videos a lot, I have a few blade helis the 150 and 230 I had the original 200qx quad from back in the day and the original 130x with the torque tube tail the one that you reviewed
