Haha you're so right. The 1/16 revo is probably my most abuse / driven car as well. I was so happy when I got it on my birthday and I think one week later the tire tread was completely gone and so were the body posts :D good times haha. Now I have to rewatch some old videos I think..

Even without the paddle tires it still flys! I hope to convert my mini summit to brushless, but my brushed motor still has a lot of power, and the brushless upgrades are to expensive, really wish I could go there and rip my summit around! Cause it looks like so much fun and a beautiful place to be!

Yeah I was surprised as well with the stock tires. If you really want to go brushless I would recommend getting a Castle Sidewinder 3 or 4 with a 4600KV motor. The Velineon setup tends to overheat really fast. I even fried the magnet in my e-revo. I think the Castle setup is also cheaper and has so much more power. And because you have the brushed version you don't need to change the motor mount. I would recommend getting the Sidewinder 4 because it has smoother startups which is quite nice because than you can still "crawl" with the summit :) And also shim your diffs with when you upgrade the brushless. I stripped so many diff gears and after I shimmed the diffs (with a team associated shim) I never had any issues again.

Yeah after shimming my diffs I never had problems again. Is used two in the back one in the front. And yeah the Mamba Monster would be overkill :D Even the Sidewinder sytem is :D but it never runs hot and is just way more powerful. My erevo is geared to 65mph and it doesn‘t even get warm.

@@KiTrisExtremeRc that's impressive, I do like small machines with huge amounts of power, but sometimes they can't handle it, with a mamba monster it would be 100% wheelies, broken drive shafts and stripped gears, and blown tires out the ass, but shimming the gears is my top priority, did you get metal gears for the transmission? Or are they still plastic, I have a sneaking suspicion that it will strip, and I can't find any metal transmission gears on amazon for it

@@IRONCaptainPanicMine are still plastic. As long as you keep the mesh right (more on the tight end) you shouldn't run into any issues. You can still lower the spring tension of the slipper clutch to make it more forgiving.

+rc studio of awesome If you use a NIMH or 2s Lipo battery, than you won't have any problems with a 3s Lipo its a little bit harder to control, but you can buy a whellie bar so that should be no problem :)

I think they are really equal. The only difference between these two is that the e-revo is better for on-road(faster) and the summit is better for off-road :)

Funktionieren zwar noch ,ich benutze sie aber vorsichtshalber nicht mehr,da sie eh kaum noch in den Traxxas 1/16 Summit passen ... Bestelle mir jetzt einen von deinen empfohlenen Akkus . Hast du da mittlerweile ne Tendenz zu einem der Akkus hin ? Und funktionieren die immernoch wie sie sollen ? Und wie lange ist die Fahrzeit mit einem Akku ? Wäre sehr nett wenn du die Zeit finden könntest zu antworten. PS: Sorry wegen den vielen Fragen 😬😓

Kann dir zwar auch nicht zu 100% garantieren ob diese nicht aufblähen, aber ich habe die 4000er für meinen Stampede und bei korrektem lagern sind diese bisher noch nicht gebläht. Habe diese nun seit über einem Jahr von dem her kannst du das vielleicht abschätzen mit deinen. Auch wenn ich mal einen Servo zurückgesendet habe wegen einer Fehlfunktion wird meistens ohne zu fragen direkt ausgetauscht und spätestens nach 4 Tagen hat man seinen neuen. Habe nämlich grade das Problem das ein neuer Regler von meinem neuen Auto abgebrannt ist (dem auto ist zum Glück nichts passiert), ich diesen zu einem anderen Online Shop zurückgesendet habe und dies schon über 2 Wochen her ist und ich noch immer keine klare Antwort habe, geschweige denn ein Austauschprodukt. Aber Monster Hopups kann ich sehr empfehlen, hatte bisher eigentlich ausschließlich positive Erfahrungen damit gemacht :)

Und zu dem Storage Laden - Sh!t das habe ich auch nicht gemacht ,könnte also daran liegen das die Akkus aufgebläht sind .😮😞 Komisch ist aber das mein Freund seinen Akku schon 2 Jahre hat und den mit erst nen 1,5 Jahre mit nem 20€ und seit nem halben Jahr mit nem 40 € Ladegerät lädt wo man nix einstellen muss und der funktioniert immernoch wie als er ihn gekauft hat ...🤔 Was genau muss man denn bei dieser Storage Funktion machen ? 😓

They wanted me to make a video for their channel and after I finished it (took quite a while it's the four season e-revo vxl vid on my channel, and I had to wait for each season to pass..), I wrote their head videographer back and told him I finished the video. He never responded. I wrote him that it is no problem if they don't want my video anymore so I could upload it on my channel then. But after 2 months of waiting I just uploaded it on my channel.
