Those are GPM skids man RPM doesn’t make aluminum parts. It looks pretty good though, I’m still working on mine, just waiting on the parts to come in, for 2.0 and a new tekno sct410.3. Have a whole week of shipments coming in.
@ReadySetRC Жыл бұрын
@Anything-goes Think you maybe mistaken my friend. I was speaking of the RPM front bumper. I did not reference the skids until 11:58 section and I did not call them by name but all parts are listed in the description. Good luck on the builds. It's like Christmas everyday with parts coming in😊

Those projects are the best! I completely overhauled my Rustler 1st, then my Xmaxx, 1/16 Revo, and lastly my DHK Maximus. All at different times. Nothing like dumping out a huge pile of parts that you upgraded in 1 fell swoop! VERY NICE REVO MAN! Despite their lack of durability, I've always thought they were a kickass design. And NEEEED to get one!
@ReadySetRC3 жыл бұрын
@BADGER So true, something about a teardown. The Revo is just one of those trucks. My last one was like a boat owner. I liked it the first day I got it and then when I sold it😆 I think this one is going to be different though.

@@ReadySetRC HAHAHAHHA! Right?! Well, i hope so. That's funny tho, i have definitely done the same thing. You will have to keep us informed on that for sure!
@theirishaxe94053 жыл бұрын
If you put a rpm true track kit on the rear and the durability goes way up no more rear links no more rear turning hubs. All you have to do is drill out the rpm hub a couple mm for the erevo 2.0 bigger bearing then everything fits perfect!
@Intrinto3 жыл бұрын
The metal skid plate on the front and rear is Not a good idea ! It will not flex on impact, what it will do break off stripping or breaking the bulkhead! I know made that mistake.. . The tie rods are a good idea to upgrade. Also I went with aluminium top A arms all around , and plastic RPM A arms on bottom, the center skidpad is a good idea to go aluminium but keep in mind how heavy your making the truck. I would also advise aluminium shock caps . And GMP or HotRacing driveshaft all around, the dog bones pop out and tend to eat notches into the cups. The traxxas wheelie bar will break easy! Go with a single servo setup and save a few OZ's use a high torque servo. Also you can make the car easier to control on the throttle if you remove a some of the 20Mill did fluid it has stock and replace what you took out with 500K. Just dont remove more than 25% of the 20Mill . That way it will diff out a little but still bark wheelies on command. Also the ESC, swap the stock one out with a hobbywing max6 . You will get allot more punch! And less chance of blowing out the stock esc under heavy loads . Hope this helps . Great video , the E Revo 2.0 is my favorite rc by far..
@ReadySetRC3 жыл бұрын
@NOX Thanks for the tips much appreciated. This is actually my second tour with the E-Revo 2.0. This is a purpose built on-road street basher. I got way too many off-road trucks and since this my second time owning one I always wanted to build an E-Revo to street rip. Always love seeing folks bash the snot out of this but for me I got something else in mind😊
@Intrinto3 жыл бұрын
@@ReadySetRC did a great job no doubt about it! Just careful with curbs. That front skid plate can give you a headache. Lol Also for street, I would also suggest axle extensions. Makes it a good bit more stable when you hookup as you turn. I am currently building a new 2.0 myself and love to see what other people are doing . :) So question, how do you like the 2250 motor ? I went and got another 2200kv but was considering switching to a different one. I'm going to be setting mine up for FPV . In your gearbox, you can also use powdered graphite or ceramic , just dont get water in there. That will reduce the drag That platform is by far my favorite to play with. I dropped around 5k on my last one, made some $$$ mistakes to .lol. However Love the way you got yours looking and the set up so far very intrested to see what else you may do with it. Those wheels are exactly what I am looking for. For added bling,, LEDs will make it POP. I would suggest adding a extra small battery for those if you do go that route. I also did the carbon fiber wing on my last one, but I was kinda pissed when it started flaking off so easily. I may make a video for this one I am working on once I get a few more parts in.
