I have done standing backflips with mine. This truck has great air control. My center drive shaft shredded and if not centered properly the dual servos will burn each other out. The E Revo is an amazing truck.

Hands down one of the best pull it out of the box and haul a** rc cars out there. 👍🏻 Edit: I don’t think it’s 20 million in the center. I think it was 100k. I found mine wasn’t filled much either from factory. After doing all diffs and shocks oils and going to a single powerful fast servo, truck is much better. Like all RC tires are everything and they definitely made those tires for bashing. I’m running holeshot m3 truggy tires on mine for the track and it’s like it’s meant to be! As far as the toe going in when the rear is compressed, it helps the vehicle want to track straight after a hard landing so when you punch the throttle it doesn’t get “guessy” on you. With time put into it, it’s an awesome truck.

I bought one about 3 months ago. I shreded two plastic gears, upgraded to metal. Small rocks destroyed the plastic center drive shaft so upgraded that. I also got the chassis brace and did the 85mm limiting strap mod.

Eventually you’ll get tired of the pivot balls backing out once it breaks in and adjusting them CONSTANTLY! I tried everything to fix mine and nothing ever held. Also, check your motor mount bolts, they don’t come with enough loctite and they will back out!

Love my revo man, aluminum chassis brace and 85mm limiting straps are amazing little upgrades that make it soooo tough. I also just glue my pivot balls in because they tend to pull out if you have a bad landing on your side that torques the wheel

On my ERBE (E-Revo 1.0) I installed the RPM Tru-track rear end conversion, which I'm sure they are working on for the 2.0. You really have to go to a monster single servo as well. It sucks Traxxas just didin't integrate those 2 features in the 2.0 as they are some of the most popular mods.
@ma-t69493 жыл бұрын
I saw a direct comment from rpm saying they will not be making tru-track for the 2.0. Was a little while ago and may change but I'm pretty sure they made that statement

@@ma-t6949 You are correct, but the 1.0 True Trac kit can be modified to fit the 2.0. The only reason it wont work is the bearings in the 2.0 are bigger than the bearing in the 1.0. There is a video on youtube making the modification to make it work with a dremel and a step bit drill bit.
@nvl26912 жыл бұрын
@@SebastianLong You will loose 1 cm of wheelbase when using the true track kit though, and that's not negligible.

tru track rear suspension helps eliminate the pesky rear toe link breakage issues. does it have a center diff? for some reason, i dont think my revo bl 1.0 had one but it was about a decade ago so dont remember...

@theirishaxe94053 жыл бұрын
You need the rpm rear true track kit man it eliminates the rear pivot ball stuff and the links. That's what breaks on this truck is your rear toe links. You should also wait until you drive cars a few times before you give any negative feedback. Stock tires suck unless you're on grass or pavement i run 6s backflips and sometimes redcat Kaiju tires for fun. But the diffs in this are way more reliable than arrma diffs. I know i have 4 1/8 arrmas. Get some 20lb springs and a reefs triple 5 servo and you will be happy. 👍 And yes center diff is 20m you should read the manual. You said there's no traction and the tires suck then you said there is no give in the center diff and to much traction. Lol. Bro. I like your videos and i been watching along time and always have a thumbs up for you but sometimes i just gotta speak my mind brother. 👍✌️🤙👊
@jasonbrickman80653 жыл бұрын
I totally agree with everything you said!
@RazorRC3 жыл бұрын
The tires suck on dirt, I didn't say they had too much traction, I said the drivetrain is essentially locked (center diff) and you can tell when landing on all 4 tires simultaneously. Anyway, the point of this video is to share what is going through my mind while I'm driving it for the first time, it's not a review video. That will come later.

Nice run! I was waiting for this and can't wait for your thoughts. I'll keep my thoughts quiet but I think I know where are going with this😊 I'll say one thing, the 2.8 Badlands made an improvement in the areas I ran. It felt like the stock tires was giving this oversteer effect when I was running it. Most likely it was traction loss but when I went to the Badlands felt like it corrected it a bit.

For sure, half the problem is the tires. I'm messing with a few things, but I'm sure I'll end up with the original 3.8 badlands pretty soon.

The center diff doesn't allow power (speed really) to bleed off to the other tires. In this case, the deceleration should bleed to the other tires, but it doesn't -- all 4 tires just locked up simultaneously.

This is a great idea. A better proposition is offering up to the author an idea to promote his act of kindness and get as many followers following him in return for an RC car. But here in America, this doesn’t make sense without a binding contract. Stay safe
