Throw a 19 tooth pinion in it they now come with a 16 tooth pinion 90 tooth spur gear the older slashes came stock with a 19 tooth pinion 90 tooth spur they did fine with the 19 tooth the brushed trucks are painfully slow with the 16 tooth in them I feel it was fine with the 19

Hello! With this model you can hardly adjust the suspension. The car had optional Big Bore (Traxxas 58620) shock absorbers and Traxxas ( 3631T, 2555T) suspension arms! Everything else was original! Best regards!!
