I just recently got into the hobby. Started off with the crawlers now I've gotten into the bashers. I've got a rustler 4x4 bls-2 and an arrma big rock 3s and love both of them..... but just few weeks ago I got my hands on a brand new traxxas v2 widemaxx special monster energy edition. I'm scared to really send it....although I know it's a tough truck.... just little hesitant to scratch that nice body 🤣 Good video 💯

I have the same color. Very enjoyable Truck. I am about to put a 6s esc from my redcat kaiju. Very happy with the truck it just needs a bit more power. Love all your videos especially with your arrma 8s kraton!

I just bought one over the weekend at hobby town here in Fredericksburg Va. Been bashing every day since lol.. I don’t have the Bluetooth add on in the remote yet.. Not that worried about what speed it’s going so didn’t get it.. Do you feel it’s worth the 40$? Also did you vent the tires from the outside? Mine was like that the first couple of days the I read where people had the same issues and that’s the fix. I did two holes in each tire and now it’s much more stable. Great video have man

Max 6 with the stock motor. I have it in both my V1 and V2 Maxx's, i love it. The Max 6 runs cooler & is smoother than the Max 8 in my Hoss (which i also run on 4S).

Interesting, I'm tinning the max 8 now but I saw some people do the 6. What do you mean when you say "smoother"?

It will work, caz I have been using max8 with the stock maxx motor for 1 1/2 year and both still working fine.

It works on 4s. That’s not the issue. It’s whether the 2400kv will handle 5s. And of it does for how long?

@@JasonPerrinRCVlogs at the end of last year, I did try 6s with pouch 2 and 5 on this max8 for 2 skatepark jumps (with stock motor), but don't like it, so I go back to 4s, if you did watch my video they're all 4s, caz I didn't post up the 6s one, 6s with even just pouch 2 is too much for this maxx to be controlled in the air (just a super light touch, the maxx go crazy with 6s). I can't wait to see you run 6s on this beast, maybe is me or it just don't need 6s at all, but my might be different, caz I got the v1 maxx, so the v2 might be better with that max8 and oem motor.

Can i used lipo 4s 14.8v with 100c in original Esc and motor? The doubt is the 100c of the battery causes problems? or should i used original 50c batteries?

I’ve ran my V2 quite a bit including landing some pretty big jumps(wrongly) and cartwheeling after turning too quickly and the only thing I’ve had break so far is a shock.

Simple fix on the brakes, assign the multifunction knob as brakes. I don’t use TSM anyway. Also a fun fact, the vxl4s is the same size as the vxl6s and vxl8s

What does “4s” stand for in the title?

The number with “s” is the cell level for the lipo battery that the vehicle takes.

Nice. I like my V2 Maxx, but I've had to invest over $1k (price of truck plus upgrades) to make it durable enough to take my crazy driving 🤣👍.
