Ran a half a pack through mine stock. Went straight to a GT5 transmitter, 45kg servo, VXL-3s, 24 tooth pinion, drilled the pistons in the shocks, 55cst fluid, Slash diffs and it has been the best mini basher I own. But like my VXL mini E Revo, it is limited by size. Still fun.

I think it has great potential. I love my mini maxx but I'm also realistic about what I'm doing with it. The future looks bright for revisions. People need to stop complaining about everything. Love the look of that new stampede too.

Exactly. For the price and scale you need to be realistic with what it can do. People expecting a 250 dollar car that's indestructible and can do 50mph and and and.....

@@CorneK011 I don't want indestructible I just want the diffs to not be butter I feel that's fair more than to be honest. and for us its £280 but that being said ive on on order and will upgrade the diff and run a 4000kv system on 2s no greater power needed

I don't have an opinion about the mini maxx. I do 100% agree about the need for people to stop whining about everything. If you don't like it, shut up and don't buy it.

I moved the rear shock in one one and added the second size shock preload clip to the rear and small lone in the front

Is the other truck a Mini Revo? I've seen one good comparison, but i think they're really close. The Revo is way lighter. I'm not convinced the 1/10 electronics were a good choice here.

OK to make sense out of why the ESC power button that can turn it off…….. I’m not fully up-to-date with all the newer Taxxas brushless systems, but majority probably have cooling fans on them and when the vehicle is left on, you can tell by the cooling fans, and it tells you that you need to unplug the batteries to turn it off where that thing is probably silent so therefore, it depends on you to create a habit of turning it off, which hopefully you will unplug the battery.

I did pick up a mini maxx from my local hobby shop for standard $249.99 pricing and can say it is fun. I also have a 1/16 e revo vxl and yes its faster but it is also a little tiny bit smaller and the mini maxx goes through grass better and it seems to so far jump well(not enough power to spin) but well and it seems nearly as fast as my 2s only team ae 14b buggy so theres that. This thing also seems like it is decent quality and i accept the fact that if i put 3s on it I need to address the diffs but the 1/16 e revo is notorious for diff probs i blew countless diffs until i put a center diff on it then it was fine, i assume this may go down a similar path.

I like the truck too. After I dumped 300$ of upgrades into it for it to live up to my standards. Welcome to the world of Traxxas. Buy a truck from Traxxas and then pass up the cost of the truck with the upgrades it needs.

Id wager they will do the same thing arrma did. Let the comunity test it, upgrade it, traxxas will come out with upgrade of there own and somewhere down the line a 3s vxl one will come out with the upgrades it needs to handle the power.

You know everywhere I see these guys on KZbin run this truck you could easily run a 1/10 scale Mt like the mt10 and have more fun and go faster and not flip over constantly and not upgrade anything for 75.00 more, so what's the point of this thing? Oh yeah, skill level 1, for kids so they don't hurt themselves.

And even if you put another 300 at least into it you're gonna have a top heavy mini truck that will not drive that well, Traxxas says it's a skill level 1 truck, it's good for kids and noobs, it funny how everyone tries making it something it isn't, read what Traxxas says, skill level 1.
