Love your channel. Interesting that my new nitro slash has the bidy mount in front of the rear shock tower. I can't find a way to mount this kit, unfortunately.

Can you install the rear body mount on the opposite side by changing the screws and reaming new body holes?

@telecomandorc Unfortunately, the ez-start port is mounted behind the shock tower also. I could relocate both and recut the body perhaps. I'm fiddling now to see if I can add a bar of plastic as a spacer, using the original mounting area. It will bring the sway bar mount about 8 to 10 mm forward, so it'll be an experiment, but using scraps of old/broken parts, so if it doesn't work out with links and all, I've only lost my time. Otherwise, at least I have a front sway bar! I am grateful for your time and consideration with the reply, and I'll let you know how it works out!

@@robthefishguy Good plan. Bright side, regardless of the result, is that the front sway bar will make most of the difference.

Working on setting my nitro slash up for strictly pavement driving. Any suggestions on suspension and tires? Also Did you like the blue bar on the front or should i go straight to the red?

Tires... Bandito. See if they still make the C3 version. Try a greater spring rate in the front as it will try to nose dive and lose the rear.

Great video, but I was curious once a sways installed you no longer (tune/adjust) the suspension through shocks, it's all done through the sway bar, so I'm curious how that's accomplished with this sway bar kit? Thanks

Great question. And sorry for the possible misconception. Everything needs to be tuned as a unit. The reason for the sway bars is to transfer load to different tires at different rates. If a sway bar is too heavy and the car starts to slide, you have to soften the sway bar... but if this causes it to roll, you then stiffen the springs... you may need to stiffen the oil too. But the mid sway bar (blue in this kit) with 47.5wt front (blue springs) and 35Wt rear with double black and the silver rear sway bar (light sway bar in this kit)is a very good starting point. This is using GTR shocks.

Pretty sure the rear mount goes on the back of the shock tower...?

they do on the 4x4 don't think they do on 2wd.
