I was gonna say I have those for my rustler too and you gotta get them hot and they stick to the road way better. When I lived in Florida they worked great cuz the road is always hot and didn't take long to heat them up. Do a quick burn out and get em sticky. It don't wear down fast at all.🤟

The tires are directional, passenger front and driver rear need to be swapped Now that I think about it further you could do you some experimenting with the tread pattern if your car tends to Pole one direction or the other you could reverse the tread on 1 side or the other to see if you could get your car to pull a straight line if it doesn't already

If u put the rpm wide arms on the front those wheels will have more even axle width front between front and rear which will help your handling and keep u out of mail boxes lol that sucks man but I did that over and over one day when I first got my rustler

Front right an back left needs to be rotated but other than that it sounds like it Grips amazing.. there isn’t that many tires that make noises when your Fully Sending it.. it makes me think I’ve been missing out on a product that’s been in the market.. im definitely picking up a set

Really enjoy your vids, just sub'd! How did you compensate for the different offset that Traxxas uses front and rear for the Rustler (and Slash and Stampede for that matter)? Love the tire squeal from these Streethawks! Ive been experimenting with on road treads myself lately. Just uploaded a vid (not nearly as good as your content, lol) of a parking lot run with Anacondas on the rear and they worked pretty well. Great channel you've got going here! 👍🏻👍🏻 Stay well.

Didn't really compensate for the offset as it was so minimal, the wheels gave plenty of room as to not impede the suspension. They are good tires for sure. Thanks for subscribing and commenting hope you have a great day.

Stampede tires have horrible grip any street tire will have better grip. You do need to run the car on the street tires to build heat in them for maximum grip.

More than anything, I'd say the tire compound is the culprit. We put the Stampede vs te Slash in a tug of war and you could tell the Stampede just had no tire traction. Made a good video though....

@@FatherandSonHavingFun yes the tread is about 80% of the grip and 20% is the thickness because when you hit the gas the tire crunches and grips at the same time to thick more spinning ,the thinner the more spinning you have after you hit the gas.

Will these when be good for speed runs on my Traxxas rustler 2wd vxl if I'm trying to go 75-85 mph or faster......????? Will they hold up to these hardcore speeds ????...... I've been using Traxxas Anacondas on my Rustler vxl 2wd. It's the same exact looking Rustler as the one in this video. My rustler looks just like yours and has the same 3500 kv stock vxl velinion brushless system as yours does. Mine is geared high though...? I have it maxed out at 79.5 mph so far which is a new record for me. Previous personal best was 77.5 mph on 3 cell using a 3S 5,200 MAH 50C YOUMME POWER soft pack lipo. With my 4,000 MAH 60C 3S HRB RACING soft pack I get 78.5-79.5 mph. Your help in answering my question would be appreciated. I'm sure that these Duratrax wheels balloon... that's not a major issue for me currently....... Even if I pop them I want to break 80 mph and higher on 3S. I've ripped a couple ....... Maybe 3 different sets of Traxxas Anacondas recently and in the near past. Either the foams would fly out the wheel and rim at high speed of the actual tiremwpupd grenade and go flying off the rest of the wheel due to pressure and heat I believe. I heard anacondas are rated at 86-88 mph but I'm not sure if that's true.

Father Family Fun Yeah I might give Duratrax a shot. I did buy some for an older rustler vxl 2wd that I had sold last year though..... I think they were the Duratrax Bandito C4’s I forgot...... anyways...... they came in a red bag...... they did an ok job. The anacondas are some of my favorites hands down though......

Great video as always man, I noticed that you have the passenger front and drivers rear the wrong direction. Being directional tires they should all be facing the same way. Makes a huge difference, even with scale cars. 👍🏼👍🏼

Can you give me a model number or link to these tires? I have Rustler 4x4 VXL. The link in your description doesn't yeild the tires in the vid. I wouldn't be asking if I didn't already search Google, Amazon, eBay, Duratrax website. The size tires that are "standard" on my Rustler are 2.8" (71mm) wide, 4.4" (111mm) diameter. Is that the same size in your vid? I already bought and waited for some tires from China that took forever to deliver and look like they're for a 1/18th scale not 1/10 scale... My own fault for trusting search results for "street tires for traxxas rustler" lol. So I want to be 100% sure making another online purchase. Thanks in advance!!
