I converted my Race Slash into a Race Rustler. Here's a review of the parts used.

I'm a little late to this party but I only got into track racing a few months ago. Being on a very tight budget I decided to run my rustler instead of buying something. This video addresses just about everything Im having problems with ( except throttle control ). Thanks for keeping thing simple so noops like me understand. Keep up the good work.

One more, lol. So my slash 2wd , my sc10.3, and rustler have so ways to go. I'm still dreaming of my sc6.1 but come tax season.. ALL GOOD 👍 thank you again. We race oval carpet sct.i race in the open class.I WOULD LOVE TO SEE A VIDEO ON SC10 JUST DONE UP AND SET UP FOR CARPET OVAL.

Can you give me updates on how to put together the transmission for a Jado I bought all new gear steel gears should I just wait and get a steel transmission before I put it back together but I really need you to send me how to put it back together if you wouldn’t please

Throw a gyro on the steering, it helps a lot going over bumps.

Excellent walkthrough! Lots of useful tips & details and I like your setup. I actually took notes (you know, like I’m back in school again and the teachers scrutinizing me in class - ha). You are a speedy speaker (rewind & pause buttons were used many times to catch all of the specifications in this video). Anyway, I have a video request for the Rustler playlist. Would you cover the fine tuning adjustments that you mentioned here and how that works on the Traxxas Proball differential? I’m not familiar with that part so it would be useful info. Thank you!

Awesome race build man I own two of these RC cars one is still brushed but my vxl was also brushed with the Titan 12 turn 550 xl-5 system and now it's Velinion 3500 kv and it's awesome. I need to get me tons of upgrades including a fresh set of tires man my current tires on it are the traxxas anaconda onroads and they are currently in crappy shape. The tread throughout the rears is almost entirely worn out but my fronts are still good. I need to buy !e a brand new fresh set of anacondas so that I'm not spinning out on take off lol. Expensive hobby I'll say that but I have 6 Traxxas RC cars in total right now and I through enjoy them. Trying to buy more cars man but it's tough I'm not rich lol.

Hey man I have a rustler VXL 2wd. Just wondering if the DE Racing 12mm speed line 2.2 wheels will fit? If so do i need to dremal the arms?

I have the DE racing 2.2 buggy rears on front and rears on my rustler they fit .

The ball diff you speak of, where can I find more on it? I googled it, with not specific luck. Do you have a part number? Does it just go right into a 2wd transmission?

I'm not sure they make it anymore and it doesn't hold up to brushless power, so I don't recommend it now.

What weight shock oil are you running in the front and rear shocks? Are you using AE oil? If so, what would this be in Losi oil weight? I don't remember if Losi oil is higher or lower in weight than AE and by how much. Thanks.

Bryan Forth it’s a Stampede now, but I think I was running 37.5F 35R Associated oil. 35 AE = 37.5 Losi

how did your curl the wires up on the servo, etc? I always struggle to figure out what to do with all that wiring!

I just wrapped it around a 2mm hex driver to coil it up

SC106.2 by a mile. For carpet, you definitely want an aluminum chassis and mid motor.

What actually are the shocks? Lol you said it to fast. And do they fit the same shock tower as yours but every part around it stock? Just wondering because I’m first of all putting a fibreglass shock tower front and rear and then doing the shocks as my next step in upgrading. Either way great video!

you dont have to dremel your swing arms if you run the correct offset rims.... jeez thats sketchy, traxxas parts break easy enough, thats just asking for them to crack.
