Thanks! I used my Samsung Ultra phone and I use the Gopro 7 for the in car video with GPS speed readings.

Hi, I'm new to this hobby, I'm torn between the bl-2s or the vxl, which do you think is better? Can they be modified so that both run faster?

Absolutely! Both are likely the most upgradeable RC systems you can buy. The only limitation is your time and money. The VXL adds many upgrades over the BL-2S so if the price difference isn't much, I would suggest getting that.

geez idk what’s worse to buy a bl2s and upgrade it or get a ultimate and put the bl2s HD kit in both seem way to expensive

The BL-2S extreme heavy duty drive would've been great if it fit the older Slash but it does not. The BL-2S ESC & motor is perfect replacement for the older brushed system.
