Not really. I only run my slash 4x4 on 3s and the two problems I have had so far are over heating which can be prevented by not breaking so hard at high speed. The other problem with running it on 3s are the the axel yolks breaking. But as long as your not jumping your slash you should be fine on 3s.

How is t that the short course trucks always remain in such good condition. My ta t4.2 stadium motor truck(actually electric) always has to be readjusted (spur and pinion) whenever crashing.
