im thinking about getting a 2.5 version just because of the e-z start and 3.3 is pull (if im correct, im not big into nitro)
@CCH75403 жыл бұрын
The old EZ start off fits and works on a 3.3 if you're buying a new 3.3 engine to upgrade a .15 or 2.5. The new 3.3 engine comes with a pull starter, but you can just take out the 4 screws holding it in place and bolt an EZ start right up (did it on my two T-Maxxes that used to be .15 and 2.5 versions originally). If you're buying a new 3.3 RTR truck, pretty sure it's EZ start from the factory.

I am looking for some more details. Wanting to update my steering servo and I know you said it was 200 oz but what brand? Not finding a 200 oz online. Also what exactly did you do to update the turning radius. I'm new to the RC so anything would help. Love the videos btw.

What the difference between big bore shocks and stock shocks? Also is there any video of this babe running? I'm thinking about upgrading the engine from 2.5R to 3.3. I already upgraded my steering servo from the stock one to a Savox, 208oz. Any recommendation on what else should I upgrade?

Can you please tell me which battery hump you got ? I don't think the traxxas hump fits int the battery box. and what clutch did you use ? the t maxx 3.3 one ? and one more thing, are the traxxas servo from the 3.3 ( 125 oz torque ) just as good as the one in the video ? . thanx

Can a 2.5R Gear Box be replaced by the 3.3 Version of the Gear Box on Traxxas. Would you give a part list to what you upgraded in the T-Max in this Video. Brilliant Car like in the middle of repairing one that's broken.
@Ryan96se8 жыл бұрын
not sure the stock 2.5 transmission will like the 3.3. my transmission broke only 4 tanks after the break in procedure with the 2.5. it sheered the primary forward gears grub screw in the gear box. that's (in my opinion) the weakest link and they make you buy the gears to get that pin (part #4995). other than that and my left front wheel flying off during break in it's been quite durable although I don't bash it. I just drive it around my yard.

Can you please tell me which battery exactly which battery hump you got.. im not sure if its the orange package you showed or the blue on at 2:21 .. I need the one on this video because it fits in the battery pack. Thanx

@rcnightmare13 жыл бұрын
@JoeDirt9671 Many good brands out there. Savox, Hitec, Spektrum, etc etc. Look for 200+oz/in and make sure you have a quality battery on board to power it. Don't run a servo saver right on the servo. Get the bellcrank upgrade kit from Traxxas with servo saver built in. Thanks for watching!

most likely bad glow plug if your carb doesn't need to be adjusted.you should regularly check your carb for optimum setting.you can find the video of how to properly adjust and tune your carb here on youtube. chances are,it's the glow plug building up residue or changing temper and getting softer and not creating enough heat to keep the engine running when the throttle is applied.i recommend replacing a used/old glow plug before readjusting your carb with a new one

@bobcheese427 your supposed to take it apart everyonce and while and grease it.. thats what i did.. and i was literallly trying to jump over a house and didnt get enough speed... probably hit the top of base of the roof and usualy that would break like atleast the bulk head and arms. but didnt even bend the parts ... just kept going for it all day but unfortunately didnt have enough power. and another time jumped it off of about a 10 foot drop and landed on 1 wheel only thing bent was turnbuckle
