Flys really well! Great driving, looks like I'll have to get me one. 🤙🏼

Thanks bud. I’m a true fan of my Tmaxxs. I used one almost exclusively all year and about 3.5 gallons. I really got to know it’s weaknesses and once that’s all sorted out you get a fine machine.

@@edrc1793 No problem! Yeah, I've been loving mine. Blew my first engine a couple days ago, but like you said, you learn the weaknesses. Lol

I'm just seeing this now. Love the 3.4 carb on the TRX 3.3 on my Revo. Cheers!

Really is a great upgrade 👍 and yet they look almost identical 😆. I just ordered another carb today for a Revo I’m almost done rebuilding.

@@edrc1793 where can I get a Losi carb from? Been looking and all sold out, discontinued. I was lucky to find just 1 and ordered it. But wasn't another for my other 3.3
@edrc17933 жыл бұрын
@@superbazooka213 I’ve got one on backorder at Amain. I’ll get it when I get it. That’s what I’ve done on the last 2 I’ve gotten. Unfortunately I think it’s a popular carb and they keep selling out. If you really need a carb the O.S. Is a better carb but cost double
@superbazooka2133 жыл бұрын
@@edrc1793 yeah I read that in some forums and looked it up and was shocked lol. Gotcha on Amain. Yeah popular and always sold out and on backorder.

Thanks Buddy, this Tmaxx has been getting a lot of run time lately so I’ve been giving it a little love with some upgrades.

Ed RC I've done three tanks through my Fo-xx and everytime I try to start my gentle figure 8's, it starts raining. Oh the joys of a British summer! 😖😂

Also the 3.3 rod only has one bushing in the rod which is on the crank pin end and there’s nothing on the wrist pin end. I can’t remember who makes it but there is a company that makes a stronger rod with bushings on both ends like it should be and that’ll help with longevity on the bearings as well as the rod. As davidrc said just in case ya didn’t already know this. Keep on rippin bro!!
@edrc17933 жыл бұрын
The Davis rod was the one to get. I only have one and I don’t even run it 😁, the collector in me is saving it. What has helped me with 3.3 longevity has been just replacing the bearings with some good quality ones. I’ve done a few engines with boca bearings and a couple with fast eddy’s and neither have failed, the Traxxas bearings are terrible quality, loose after a half gallon of 30% and once they get loose it’s only a matter of time before your con rod explodes. Thanks for watching and commenting.

When are you going to do a walk around of that sweet ride in the back ground...lol

Haha! I will show it in a later video. It was the first time out with it this year and I got too excited cruising around with the tunes, I ended up frying one of my amps 😅. I used it to get to the hobby shop for my Tmaxx parts. Thanks for watching!!

What servo do you use for the gas and brake. My Revo has no air control due to the stock servo being so slow.
@edrc17932 жыл бұрын
Yeah, often overlooked is the throttle/brake servo. I can’t remember the one in the truck atm but it’s definitely at the minimum a Savox.

@@edrc1793 I switched it out a while ago and what a difference oh yeah. Right after I sent the message I toasted my steering servos then a pin blew out of my forwards only conversion kit and into the new gears 😆 go figure. Luckily the transmission is back together for another round. Man ohhh man it was dusty in there bad to lol. Happy RC bro have a great day thanks for commenting back 🤩🤘😊
