I've got almost the same unit. 3.3 in a 2.5 chassis with a bunch of upgrades! Runs awesome and it will carry the front wheels in the air for over 30 feet before it comes back down. Those traxxas claims about being the fastest are no bs! Great video bud!❤

You can use rc airplane fuel, Omega or Cool Power, just add about an ounce (max two ounces) of castor oil (sold at any WM store) to a gallon of fuel. All my nitro rigs run on 10% to 30% airplane fuel. It is usually cheaper than rc car fuel and more so if bought by the case. Don't listen to the LHS staff, the fuel works and will not damage the engine.

My original TMAXX 1.5 and 2.5 REVO with 3.3 and tuned pipes still have crystals. Guess I'm in the stone ages. Good thing I live in the sticks. I think these frequencies are off limits now?

LOL, yes, it's still squirrely!! ahaha It seems all the upgraded useless steering components the prior owner installed actually have a TON of SLOP. even after I installed a new ZERO SLOP servo horn it still does not center the wheels perfectly under acceleration. You're gonna be MASTER BASHING real soon!! that is great fuel bro!! NitroGanG! I will yell 2-speed baby for you later today..

Hey dude, good question considering this is a really upgraded model. I honestly would recommend sticking to the stock set up unless you are having major problems. This one does have the upgraded metal Robinson racing, set up specific to this model, but honestly unless you do a lot of jumping you really don’t need a set up like this.

You cannot beat a savage my dude!! Alhought the newest t-maxx 3.3 is also pretty killer. They are about the same speeds too. Id say if you want an easier starting nitro then get the t-maxx 3.3 cause the ES-Start is great and it comes with TSM and everything you need.
