For the amount of work, creativity and pride you put into that build; this video should be viral! This is one of the best build videos I've seen on KZbin. I did a Typhon TLR to Senton 6s Conversion and used the FOX UDR Livery. I love what you did with the stock paint job. Awesome Work!

Thanks! I tried to do what I could with the stock body colorway as mine arrived with the paint skewed a full inch off center. I think a new body us not that far off into the future

Awesome build! I try to build for durability while keeping it as light as possible, but also with as much scale as I reasonably can have too. I like how smooth the UDR suspension is. It looks so good, I run mine a lot without the body, just so I can see the cool movement of everything working in harmony. I especially like your design/research and 3D printing of your center console! Fantastic! Thanks for your video! Please keep sharing with us your awesome work!

I liked the UDR build you did the details on painting turned out great and the driver's and center console shifter and cup holder and gauges is Sick bud! You have some talents with the 3D printing and that stand was neat too! I have several UDR's Fox bodies and a old Blue Method body I'm gathering part to make one of them just metal panels open wheel buggy type with paddle tires and upgrades I'm subscribed on your channel!😉👍📹✔️💯👋👋👋 BTW if you would print out those middle console shifter pieces you could sell them and stands???🤔

Yes, in the video they are upgraded to aluminum. There is a whole section on painting the faux calipers and changing them 👍

The purple Ferrule on the trailing arms. Where did you find them?

My local Hobby Shop. Team KnK makes them in most popular colors and sizes you'd need.

Any idea on how much you spent on the aluminum upgrades alone? I have a udr and everything that's weak is broke on mine
@zer02garage832 жыл бұрын
Oh man, I'm not sure I can put a dead-accurate dollar amount on it. But being my 2nd UDR I knew what needed it, and what doesn't benefit from metal upgrades. The Traxxas Upper Links are your best go-to, not as flashy as some, but the steel ones are like $20 and Damn Tough. I'd stick with Nylon lowers (like the RPM) as they seem to have just enough flex to keep hard hits from breaking other parts. Otherwise the GPM Sway-bar is a must, and I have tried just about every aftermarket driveshaft, and they all hold up about as well as the stock unit, 6s just breaks that grub screw or the pins on all of them eventually. Everything else is pretty well built from the factory. Hope this helps.

Hi do you know what paint you used for on top of the body?
@zer02garage832 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's the Traxxas lexan Flat Black. Tamiya PS-5 will also work. Just make sure to use Lexan specific paint as anything else will not adhere to the body and flake or crack off
