My Traxxas Xmaxx keeps blowing out tires..

@@calvinbaker4812so in my case you’re saying people (including me) can’t do a back flip with the xmaxx without blowing out the tire because I don’t know when to let go the throttle..(even if I need to keep the throttle up to make a backflip)

I don’t know why but for the price of the tire I don’t think that’s normal when I can buy Duratrax tire for half the price (and belted $)of traxxas xmaxx tire..

@@Brisson. i have had the same sledge hammer tires on my maxx for a year and i keep them glued never had a blowout. This guy never glued his tires and unfortunatly traxxas does a terrible job glueing the tires out of box

@Trav B you can buy belted tires that dont balloon. only problem is you also get less top speed and less grip and theyre more expensive. me being only on 3s ima stick to unbelted but if your on 6s or 8s belted might be the way to go

Lock up your Front and rear differentials with silicone earplugs make sure they're silicone not wax and you won't have that problem and you'll have better handling

i use 20million weight dif “oil” basically silly puddy it’ll lock er up tight but not so tight you can’t turn on high grip low speed

Same happened to me 2 tires two weeks. They advertise it as damn near indestructible. I got the xmaxx so I didn’t have to drive like a wimp. All these people saying their shelf queens have never broken. What did you replace your tires with?

I agree with you 100%. I got the Duratrax Hatchet X. They are belted so no ballooning. They are also cheaper than the badlands.

To be fair, my son had had his two years, blow out one tire doing a auto right. Thay are really strong, if you get water in the wheels you will blow out tire, and yes traxxas are tight with the tire glue
