31mph is fast, ask the e bike community. This is some decent power and speed on rollerblades. But then it pulled your pick up Truck. Ok this RC car is one dream come true. Really a long time ago a had a dream where a bunch of rc car owners at some place I’ve never been before drive these cars. The green one. A blue one and of course the red one. Some plain without a cover. One of them guys gave me his remote control. I was astonished, it felt awesome. I remember I said in this dream, they are real. These rc cars are really real and so much fun. And the other guys around cheered like of course they are. Awesome huh!? And me yeah. Yeah!! This was a crazy good dream. And this video reminds me of it. Idk what to say. Keep it up. Pick up truck, RC cars. Great time with friends. That’s a dream worth dreaming.

I did this in like 2014 with 3908 emaxx on 6s and the trick I learned was that you need a longer leash. If it's too short, the angle to the truck is too steep and you'll pull the back end of the truck off the ground. With a longer leash, the angle is less steep and the back wheels will stay on the ground better. It kinda looks like you crouched a bit to alleviate the angle, which works, too (probably helps on wind resistance, too). I didn't hear anything about gearing through the video, but I normally gear down for pulls, you get more torque, and it's less heat on the motor.

Totally awesome video and congratulations on hitting the 31 MPH mark and exceeding your expectations! If you want to achieve greater MPH speeds, you'll have to swap out your smaller rollerblading wheels for the 125mm (5 inch) Marathon Runner type Rollerblading wheels or purchase Rollerblades that accept 125mm Wheels. Your smaller wheels create more drag and slow you down since the wheels are not designed for the type of surface you were skating on. Upgrading to Rollerblades with Larger wheels will give you faster speeds, smoother rides, less drag, and even some off road capabilities. If you had larger wheels, I'm sure you could have achieved speeds of 65 MPH to 165 MPH+ depending on the surface being flat and smooth like the sidewalk or bumpy like sandpaper as you were riding on in the video. The wheel size and the surface you're riding on really make a huge difference with your results. 🤘😎🤘

cool video, I think when you attatch the cable to the pickup and RC car a lot lower, the RC car has more wheight on the back wheels for more traction. Same like tracktor pulling,........ hope to see a video with it,..............

With the rollerskates, you should hold the rope lower, so about the same height as where the rope is attached on the x maxx. And i'm amazed that it could pull the pick up truck without lifting the rear wheels ( on the xmaxx) from the ground, because the rope is at least at an angle of 20 degrees, so those tires do have some insane gripp on the tarmac alright.

@@637jaden3 If you have kids or if your a kid/young teen like me, I suggest using the xmaxx or maxx/hoss in light snow. Then tie a rope to a sled and slam that throttle. (I suggest around 3-5 inches of snow, it really just depends on your tire size and what kind of battery you have if you have a sufficient esc and motor).
