Warren G wasn't brought out by Snoop. He actually put Snoop on by introducing him to Dre. Warren was his own man as far as success goes because Dre refused to have him on Death Row (probably to protect his step brother) and Warren G saved Def Jam from bankruptcy.

Snoop also helped bring Charlie Wilson back. He made a point to put acts like Charlie Wilson on his actual record instead of just sampling. That way the actual artist got paid. Often times the rights to old songs are owned by other people. So the old artists don't really get paid from samples. He did the same with the Dramatics, George Clinton, and Bootsy Collins.

@veritynationtv44927 жыл бұрын
I think there was a Nate Dogg unsung special or something (you can find it on here somewhere) where his closest peeps were saying that, but I've never heard much of anything about his closest peeps doing work. Even BG Knocc Out said Nate was the one always into something like the fight at the golf course Ruthless vs Death Row, but says he hasn't seen or heard anything about those other cats claiming.
@veritynationtv44927 жыл бұрын
lol Jamal Vines you are probably in another conversation than what I'm saying. I'm not even saying if Nate was or wasn't, if you believe gangs are for the weak, etc. I'm saying that it seems like he got down way more than those around him that actually claim and many that are real ones can vouch for that, unlike the others. That's all I was saying on how he got down. That side stuff is irrelevant. munsta 007 is on the right track.
