Fidel, he was a major factor with the Dog Pound. Before Daz and Kurupt. The origin of the Dog Pound was with Snoop, D. O. C. and Big C-Style. Also, the majority of the Murder Was The Case soundtrack was his compilation and his artists and Death Row just bought it from him.

Amir, you're talking about the "rap group" Dogg Pound. That was always Daz and Kurupt. But the Dogg Pound gang that includes all their homeboys was in place long before Kurupt came around. This is when Dre was still on Ruthless. Snoop and C-Style started that. When Daz and Kurupt formed a group they decided to run with the name of their clique. The Pound was way more than a 2 man rap group.

So there's no way this story could have inspired that song since it came out before the incident happened (like you said), and also because Tray Dee and Warren are from enemy hoods as well.

Maybe some day again before its all over. Much respect & love. I passed on the tree & the bottle. They didn't know it but I was shook up from recently losing my lil bro. Shot out to all of them Ron & Warren G. Love. Things like this might've helped save my life. Later I did attempt suicide. But I'm great today. Thanks Tray , Snoop & Goldie. The Crips wasn't having that shit on Deathrow...they wasn't punking none of the Locs!!💯
@levrai9446 жыл бұрын
There are PLENTY of stories of crips getting they asses beat by death row, at different shows and even at the studios. They were always outnumbered by Suge and his Mon piru boys. One crip in particular got his ass beat to death at a DJ Ouik show back in 94' by Buntry, Neckbone and a bunch of other piru's. At the Soul Train awards in 96' when Death row and Bad boy ran into each other, Puffy and the Southside Crips he was with all ran. Suge had about 80 piru's with him

@demarcusmac28136 жыл бұрын
Really Suge was really suppose to killed in the 90s. He was lucky he didn't killed in Vegas and in the internal struggle that happened in Death Row.

Why is a guy like Baby still around? He seems to be doing the same shit except replace the hyper gangsta ish with suspect kissing and robbing artists. Money checks all that shit and Suge was paying the most gangsterish of gangstas fresh outta jail.

@ The RGG, Respect to OG Tray Dee, he said there wasn't any disrespect going on to the Crips while he was there, but he said he didn't go in the room when it was being discussed, he sat outside. I believe Suge knew Warren G was more important than the dudes that snatched his chain and he wasn't going to feud with Tray Dee
