An orthodontist told me not to wait. In the long run it won't make any difference. It's more important to keep the trays in for the recommended 22+hours/day. I personally drink all drinks (except hot) with my trays in ONLY if I can immediately clean them after drinking the drink. Getting the Dental Pod was the best choice I ever got! But with the 'jiggling' you mention in the video, I think that may be a bad idea.

Re #4: I used my front tooth to remove staples for years. Then one day it just chipped off at the corner and i was mortified. I registered with a new dentist (i'd moved home so much and my last dentist was years earlier) who cut it down - but never even offered any composite bonding. Then it was years after that (in another part of the country) that another dentist added some bonding, but it still has a flat edge compared to the other front tooth that has a round edge. The moral of the story, for me was always: Don't be afraid to offer people little nuggets of advice, ("use a staple remover"! or any of the tips in this video, for example) that could save people a lifetime of regret and save them ruining their teeth.

I read rinsing after brushing your teeth is not recommended, does this also apply to when you are using invisalign? Also using a mouth wash after brushing is not really recommended. So would you even recommend using mouth wash while the invisalign treatment? Or is it maybe something you can do when you don't have the possibility to brush.
@TrayMinder3 жыл бұрын
According to Colgate.com: “The Mayo Clinic recommends using mouthwash after brushing and flossing your teeth. However, the National Health Service (NHS) recommends avoiding mouthwash right after brushing, since this may wash away the fluoride from your toothpaste. Instead, the NHS recommends using mouthwash at a different time of day. The ADA states that you may choose to use mouthwash before or after brushing based on personal preference.” I agree with the ADA, American Dental Association.

@@dominikkkkkkkkkkkkk Check out holistic/biological dentistry-you’ll have a different perspective on fluoride. I haven’t used Flouride in 20+ years and stopped having cavities when I stopped using Flouride toothpastes. I floss daily, brush twice a day for 2 minutes each time with a Sonicare. Recently, after sensitivity in one area when flossing, I started swishing a few drops of nascent iodine, and that cleared that right up. A dental checkup showed no cavity. The last thing before bed, I swish with remineralization drops.
