Rewatch the fight and check John Molina Jr's lead leg. It's so badly compromised he's only capable of throwing the rear overhand from any stance, and had to switch southpaw anytime he wanted to throw his left as an actual punch. Terence couldn't hurt him through 8 rounds. Watch John Molina's other performances, like against Ruslan Provodnikov.

John Molina's leg is gone at least since halfway through round 1. Potentially before the bell even rang. He was fighting with one leg, he could only load punches from one side at a time. He had to go southpaw anytime he wanted to throw the left. He couldn't keep stable when throwing the read hand, or recover from coming off balance because of the compromised lead leg, so he couldn't use any footwork or upper body movement to protect himself after throwing any meaningful punch.
