Nice mobiles. I have two, maybe three of them. One advantage is, no 7 segment displays to burn out. Has the old school rotary channel dial.

Not sure about this one, but some of those old Teaberry's made a sound like dogs howling when doubling with someone. Made it hard for them to stay stealth.

My friend while at our school barn found one of these and we don’t know how it works. We’re missing an antenna for it and a dc power cord but it does have an ac power cord. There’s also labels for an Ex so and pa sp. It doesn’t seem to turn on as well. If you can provide some insight it would be much appreciated.

I saw one of these on the bay with a box, shining like the Hope Diamond and I couldn't resist. It looks pristine but don't know if it works or if it's SS or relay. It's the only CB on the seller's pages so I know he probably doesn't know anything about radios. I gave 150 for it. Do you think that's a good price? I know that's subjective. I hemmed and hawed for a bit but then I remembered what the Pickers said:"The time to buy it is when you see it." So I pulled the trigger and it's on the way. BTW, love your channel. It's a great resource for radio nuts like me.

cheezervvvvv No, I collect all types and brands of radios. That was just the completion of the collection for this brand CB. More radios than common sense. :)

I remember my Dad having a Teaberry "T" Scout, and my late uncle having a Teaberry base station though I can't remember the model of it. My question is what ever happened to Teaberry? It seems the name disappeared in the very late 70's or very early 80's. If I ever find that base station or the "T" scout, I would like to send them your way to get them working again.

My first radio was a Royce with a button on the mic that switched the channels with a relay. Do you have a Royce collection?

Like many radios back then you could connect a external tone squelch module. In modern amateur and business band radios it's known as a PL tone or CTCSS.
