I love BONVOYAGE. Lyrically it's the story of Dreamcatcher's own personal apocalypse, told from 3 different perspectives: 1) Pre-debut Dreamcatcher (also known as Minx), who are at their lowest point in their careers and who have to make a choice. Give up their dream or re-debut as Dreamcatcher with a completely different image and sound. (verses) 2) Post-debut Dreamcatcher, who are treating every day as their last, going full speed ahead with their new image and sound, while leaving their Minx era image behind. (chorus) 3) Current day Dreamcatcher, a blend of both Minx and Dreamcatcher, who are looking back with pride and love at both versions of themselves. (intro, pre-chorus, bridge and final chorus) ❤

What are you even talking about. This song is not about that at all. The girls said this song is about something else. In addition, it is part of a trilogy about the apocalypse that awaits us if we do not take care of the environment. Quotes from other fans: "For me this song gives hope for the future while making our past experience as the foundation for our future to grow,learn to love ourselves and people around us, the image of broken buildings are our past selves and how some of us makes mistakes or our trauma on how it crumbled us and our surroundings and our environment and the flowers growing out of these crumble building indicates that from these experiences we can still grow out like a beautiful flower have a safe journey for our future and not forget our past and use our past experiences to build a foundation for our better future self to grow and flourish....I mean thats what I got anyway. " "Bon Voyage" is the 3rd and final part of the Apocalypse trilogy. The members have mentioned that it is about giving nature a break. Any encounter between human beings always has separation attached to it as well, just as death is a part of life. SuA also said that the fluffy floating thing that Dami summons from her painting is a cell. It has been named "Celly" and is adorable. My dark mind believes that they are saying "Have a good trip" to humanity, since we are well on our way of wiping ourselves out. It's like a breakup between humanity and the earth. Once humanity is gone, nature gets the break it needs and the circle will begin again. For me, the key to understanding the lyrics is that they are singing as human beings, not as a single person. And they are singing to nature, confessing their love and the realization that we are not good for nature and that it probably resents us. It could also be the other way round (them singing as mother nature to humanity). There are still many things I don't know. For example, why are all three titles in French. 😉 (And why are there 3 Damis with 7 shadows...) The story of the MV seems to be that the rest of humanity has sheltered away under force fields after the apocalypse. This gives nature time to heal."

@@vaka5678 I'm sure you can draw out some those metaphors from the video, but lyrically, the song is about about themselves on their endless journey as artists. Minx did have a rest year before their debut as Dreamcatcher, Jiu might have been trying to give us a hint there. She did also say that BONVOYAGE was her favorite title track, since it was her life's song. I love Dreamcatcher, but they've never been really good at explaining their songs, but that's part of their charm. ❤ If you want to make a save the environment analogy which has roots in the lyrics of the song, it would be this: Earth is dying, we are currently at a crossroad. If we make the right choices now, and treat every day like it's our last, then we can one day in the future look back with pride and love at ourselves for saving the planet. If we don't make the right choices, there won't be a future us who can look back at anything.

I really like the drumming and basswork in this track. The dynamics are good too, classic soft and loud. I like the melody which I couldn't say for vision (it sounded like vision's chorus is incomplete). The "I know you" part I like more than the "bon voyage-y" part though.

I really liked or loved the past couple titles and didn't really like the album. Now it's the opposite; I really like the b-sides and the title is fine. I don't hate it, or dislike it, or anything; it's good but not exceptional to me. However, KARD's Icky has surpassed it in my brain so there's that. Plus I also wasn't a fan of Deja Vu for awhile but it became one of my favorite DC songs, so who knows with this one.
