It is “you” and that’s exactly how we pronounce the word “you”. Pronunciation of I or me in Korean is “na” or “knaegah” and You is “knu” like a “nut” but with out the letter “t” or “kneegah” so yeah I know what you mean but it is what it is. There are other ways to say I or You as well but it all depends on who you’re talking to, like if the other person is a friend, a stranger, older or younger etc. Sounds a bit complicated but I hope that helped a little. 😊

I'm African and grew up in the UK/Australia so I've never had many people try and use the N word around me. So when I went to karaoke with one of my African-American friends and sang If you do by Got 7. Any one that knows that song knows how often the word "you/니가" comes up 😅 long story short she was incredibly shocked and I was so confused as to why. I understand what you feel, but that's the thing if you listen to foreign language before you react to something which you think is offensive you should also educate yourself first.
