I find evidence of new detectorists all over my area now. It kills me because people know me locally and I definitely don't want them thinking I made those horrible plugs. Excellent heel plate man. I have the same one. That's a great find. Yours is in much better condition as mine is in between wear of both yours Nice to see some silver JD. I'm on one heck of a silver drought

That heel plate reminds me of the tap shoe plates we used in tap dance class. I also see that soldiers wore plates on their shoes in the Civil War era.

1957 the year I was born. On 09/13/1957. Cool find! The heal plates were used by young men. In the early 70's, they would be used to make a Clicking noise and the principle would tell them to Remove it! It's leaving a scratch in the tiles. FYI

I live outside of Knoxville, tn and have 37 acres here if you ever get to knoxville you can dig here A story was told to me about the guy that owned this land in the late 1800's he didnt trust banks so he buried his money to keep from being robbed. As old man Jack told me no one has ever found his stashes. And Jack lived here from birth he was in his late 80s so who knows maybe you'll get lucky digging here someday.

Hi JD the only research on the twist n win I found was under pepsi crystal beverage that came out in 1991 to 93 I believe. I'm not sure if this helps 🤔 love watching your vids and keep up the interesting finds my friend 👍🏻💰

drop the coin in some vinegar and salt mix for a few days (2 or 3 days)then rinse with water and scrub with a soft toothbrush. might get lucky and get a date on the coin. that pendant is a "strawberry shortcake" pendant. it was a cartoon in the 80's. little sister loved it, i hated it because it was at the same time as "speed racer"

Hey John! I did find a merc toward the end. But not sure. It may have been cherry picked. Not a lot of large signals in the field area. Regardless. It hasn't been detected thoroughly, so I'm sure there more there to be found. I definitely plan on going back.

Very good vid! Good strategy and explanations. I have 2 recommendations. Bring a bag garbage bag for the dirt. Put your plug and scoops ontop of it so when u patch the hole back up you leave it flat and the same. Your way there will be a dip in that spot crater. I dig bigger ones so I always do it if its flat ground and nice like yours. And 2 bring a brush for your finds. You rubbung coin with hand does damage. Im a perfectionist and love coins. So I treat them like there precise all the time. Jeans are the worst. Havnt worn them in 20 years. I rock the army bushwacker jungle safari hat too! GL dude! Maybe its just us weed smokers who love respect green more. Talking about repairing the holes.. WE patch them better than non users. I know you dont use.
