Oooo you're traveling to Japan and Korea? Niiice. If you're going to Seoul I have a recomendation for some food. Try barbeque in Gram Gram restaurant. That's like a chain restaurant in Seoul and they have such good food. Also you should try some street food. I'd recommend yangnyeom chicken and tteokbokki - that's classic but sooooo delicious. You can have it at the restaurants too of course but it's more special when it's street food. Idk hahaha Have fun there!
