I am crying! I have always wanted to have a Treasure Planet map! I’ve been looking through other models online, but NONE of them hold a candle to how intricate this 3D model is. And your handiwork is second to none! I would give or pay anything to have a replica like this!

This is was really cool to see, currently I’m planning to make a map of my own but I don’t have a 3D printer, and I’m gonna be adding the green lights and working buttons (that will have springs underneath, the only button that will be working is the one that activated the leds) but the gold leaf was really genius, yours came out looking so accurate to the movie!

So that's how. The legendary pirate Captain Nathaniel Flint did it a portal that opens to any location in the universe so he can steal treasure. And the Planet is a machine that Flint commandeered to stow his treasure, in the center of the planet

You are very very welcome thank for the encouraging words. Unfortunately the STL files are not readily available - the intricate detail makes the file extremely well over 10 gigs. I worked directly with the creator of the files to replicate and print my own copy.

Hey I happen to have a copy of this model from when it was still available; how were you able to print this with the textures? Is there a trick in blender to get them to apply to the base model?
